First let me say my dine in person Sandra was pleasant and helpful. So I have not been to Piccadilly in a while so I am aware that the kids meal is dine in only, so I got one for my son who is to get dropped off. But I am sitting here and he has not shown up. So the manager, Ashley walks by of course being sarcastic and say so did your son show up....well you see the plate still sitting there and she walks off but before walking off....I said yes he came by, she was like so he didn't show up in a sarcastic manner... But had I clapped back at her confronting me about the plate, then I would have been wrong. But with good intent he was to show up to eat with me....He didn't, bailed out on me. So I get it, you don't want people walking out with a kids plate unless the child is present. But so what if the parent gets her child or children the Thurday $1.99 plate to go...you may not know that parent's situation, maybe they just got off work or it was easier to just bring it home. And then I am looking at kids meal here are now almost $7.00...wow. But we are coming by the customer making unnecessary comments about me getting to $1.99 meal although I got white meat chicken dinner at 12.00 and a 3 meal vegetable plate at $8.00. And that might be all they can afford and wanted to get their child some healthy food. But in the mist of it the food use to be better in taste, but carrot suffle was good, broccoli/rice casserolewa okay and fried chicken and fish were fine...disappointed at the macaroni and cheese, very bland, string beans straight from the can, no red velvet cake and bread was cold. I don't send food back. Just my point, observation or comment on the issue but my comments may have you all stop the promotion.... And we wonder why the crowd at the restaurant is not like it use to be..... Growing up we lived at Piccadilly every Sunday, Thursday and Friday for the fish and sometimes just to come get a slice of red velvet cake... Signing off.... Again Sandra was awesome...seeing about the customer, she...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Piccadilly to pick up a doordash order. This is only the second time I have taken an order from Piccadilly. They were out of shrimp so I had to call the customer who had to call his grandparents and find out what they wanted instead. Then it turned out they were out of mashed potatoes, so I had to call the customer back to find out what side did his grandparents want in place of mashed potatoes. I have to agree with the customer it's kind of bad when a buffet restaurant doesn't have mashed potatoes. Both times I have been there to pick up an order this has been an issue. The last time was on Thanksgiving day so I think they were just overwhelmed with the amount of business. But this was 5:30 in the afternoon you should have plenty of food. They said they were having issues and they said they're not getting their supplies in. Now honestly mashed potatoes? They are approximately 600 ft from a grocery store a big Kroger grocery store and I would almost bet they could have gotten potatoes or instant potatoes to have had mashed potatoes available for their customers. Now I may claim all the people that I deliver to as my customers but truthfully I'm just the person in between the restaurant and their customers that takes the customer the food. I will not be returning to Piccadilly to pick up food orders.
Well the only thing I can say is nothing has changed. Went to pick up an order today, apparently someone had already picked it up but they didn't actually deliver the order they stole it, and cashier was extremely rude about it like it was my fault someone stole it and I should have known that. So I will never accept another order from Piccadilly, nor will I ever eat at Piccadilly, at least not at this particular restaurant. Because quite frankly I listened to her talk to a customer who was buying her food and she didn't talk any nicer to her.
Actually there is a change I just lowered this rating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChicken livers were not edible. Macaroni and cheese tasted like it came from a box. Did not have any shredded cheese to add to my broccoli. There was no one working the dessert & salad section. Dad flagged someone down to identify 2 desserts. For one we were told it was lemon meringue pie. I responded, that is not lemon meringue, there is no meringue. They asked someone else who said it is cheesecake after looking at it & holding it up. I said cheesecake pie? He said no, cheesecake. Didn't look anything like cheesecake. There was one person working the meat and vegetable section and one person working the bread. There were 3 people at the register, 2 were brand new 1 was a waitress. The waitress went & got Dad what he wanted to drink. One of the new people rang me up, but never asked if I wanted to add a tip to my card. Good thing cause I would have wanted my money back. I asked the other new person if she would take Dad's tray to a booth. She kept saying which one? I said any. She told Dad to lead the way. I told her he can't, just put it on that booth over there. She finally did so I could finish paying. Once we got seated I had to find a salt shaker, then had to ask for napkins & was told, "Sorry, your waitress is sitting over there." A few minutes later the "waitress got up & moved a few trays & dishes from tables that had been there since we came in. She never asked if we needed anything or even speak at all once we were at the table. Granted she did get Dad his drink after some back & forth before we paid. Other than that one thing the entire experience was bad. Likely will not go back to...
