Waffle House — Restaurant in Stockbridge

Coffee and lunch today. Table was dirty, beside the restroom, no problem with table location just chose it because the heat was warmer there. Only 3 other tables with customers so not busy at all. Coffee was bitter so I inquired, the waitress says she uses 3/4 bag when it's supposed to be 1/2 because she likes her coffee Strong! OMG. I told her the coffee is for customers not her, and has a set recipe for a reason. Food was cooked is about all I can say, Patty melt and hash browns, greasy and squished flat! I had to add water to my coffee to tolerate the flavor, half a cup if coffee with half water and 3 creamers just to drink it cold because id adding water. PLUS the waitress poured the coffee into the cups BEFORE the pot finished brewing...it might not have been as bitter if the pot finished the brewing cycle, thus mixing proper water amount. Geez it's coffee not...

I placed a walk in to go order for 3 All Star Specials around 10:45pm yesterday. There were only 2 people working-the grill cook and the lady taking orders. She was pleasant and took my order as efficiently as she could being there were only the 2 of them. There was a couple ordering ahead of me and 4 others waiting. The grill cook had zero time for socializing or at least he should have know thar. 2 girls walked in that he knew and they were rushing him to cook faster so he could go outside and get a cup of "Henny". He was so focused on getting his cup of alcohol that he burned every piece of bacon for my orders and scorched the eggs and messed up my waffle on 1 order. I should have just driven a few extra minutes to the location I normally go to. This location is tacky and ghetto. And thry need to clean up. They get 1 star for the nice lady at...

If I could give this Waffle House no stars I would. My husband placed an order online paid online we get to the restaurant and the order was not ready and when he did get the order the order was wrong. When he mentioned this to the lady she took the eggs off the plate and placed it in a pan put a piece of cheese on it and tried to give it back he told her no because that's not how he asked for his eggs to be cooked he paid for a certain way and that wasn't it. With other food still missing and the food not ready he asked for a refund. She told him since he ordered online that he would have to call their corporate office. Now with this being a Sunday the corporate office was closed. I'm trying to understand what is the problem with simply getting a refund when your employees are the problem.
