Best Breakfast and Wings & Hibachi — Restaurant in Stockbridge

I’m in between 2 and 3 stars. So a 2 1/2 would do.

Outside: The new signage states “Best Breakfast” but then also states “Wings & Hibachi.” There is too much going on. Also I read a review about their landscaping and I looked at theirs before I left and it looks the same, like it haven’t been done. It is supposed to look great everyday. We’re not even supposed to know it was done.

Inside: It wasn’t packed, which is great due to Covid. Tables were spaced. The “Please Seat Yourself” sign should be closer to the door where we can see it and seat ourselves. Also, I wish the water display that was up front worked. It would’ve been nice to view and listen to the waterfall.

Order: Breakfast - Breakfast Sample with a side of hash browns. Coffee. OJ to go. The breakfast was good, not excellent, but good. My eggs weren’t done fully (they were a little runny) and I had “choke” pancakes (meaning I had to pure syrup on them more than 5x’s and needed OJ.) I was given coffee before my meal but no utensils. I had to wait until after my food was brought to the table to get my utensils. After waiting, my coffee wasn’t even that good. I watched the waiter give a couple that came after me utensils and a menu. So, it could’ve been an honest mistake. I was a little scare to drink out of the cup as well. They just looked old and I have had lipstick left on my cup before at Denny’s which scared me for life. But my cup looked clean. The hot sauce and ketchup are in similar containers and needs to be labeled. I made a mistake and poured hot sauce on my hash browns instead of ketchup. The sugar was stuck inside the container. My sugar container broke and sugar fell on the floor, me, my chair, and the floor AND IT WAS NEVER CLEANED UP! I sat there near sugar the whole time.

Menu: They're still giving out menu’s. They need the QR code menu’s at each table or a sheet of paper that can be thrown away, due to Covid. But they didn’t have any home fries, which is what I really wanted, but it was on the menu still.

Waiter: He was very nice. There was not a long wait time for my food. But he did not clean up the sugar at all, which led this review to be a 2 1/2 ⭐️.

I've never walked into a spot to eat and not even make it to the booth to sit down before turning around. Not to mention the NOT 1 but 2 dead Roaches at the entrance of the building. I should have took a picture (super gross). No matter how long I live in the south I'll NEVER be okay with roaches/palmeto bugs whatever you wanna call it near my dining experience. The inside of the restaurant looks like they're in need of a major deep cleaning, new carpet and better lighting. I'll never come back to this establishment and I am in amazement on how they have a 4.2 but then again the eating standards/ what is accepted down here is below par compared to up north. Please take this comment as a sign that you have A LOT of room for improvement, especially when you're named "Best Breakfast". Been here a couple of times before but wasn't reviewing then. I have to say it was really good then and it's so much more now.

Breakfast is what we had today. And it was on point. I had the omelette, with all the vegetables and cheese and ham. It was huge and packed.

Hashbrowns were just crispy enough. All the condiments available, hot sauce available too...

The coffee is strong, just like I like my ladies, sweet and black... Uh, well, back to the review...
