Update: Friday, February 21, 2025 dinner Generally they have good food. A couple of notable points… They just had a severe price increase. I’m not sure their food is worth the price they’re charging. Second point… Their sodas and iced tea are now FIVE DOLLARS‼️‼️🤦🏻♂️☠️ I think we need to go somewhere else where we get more value for our money‼️👎🏻 ——————————- Update: Saturday, July 22, 2024 Dinner My son and I went to dinner Saturday evening at Angelina‘s. Sadly to say, Angelina is not the Angelina that I knew 10 or 20 years ago. Their food used to be excellent. Now it’s just average. We ordered the deep fried ravioli appetizer. We asked for it to be cooked well done. They were not. They looked quite anemic and actually they have very little taste/flavor. Not happy with them. The garlic bread they used to serve was the best. I always ate too much of it. It was slathered in garlic butter. Now they just paint the bread with a yellow color you think butter but there’s very little. Same with the garlic flavor. My son ordered the New York steak with cheese tortellini. He was happy with his dinner. He chose the salad bar which he enjoyed. With my dinner I chose the bowl of minestrone soup. Quite watery. I remember in times past the soup was so thick and rich you could eat it with a fork! Not this bowl. I ordered the ribeye with spaghetti. I was not happy with my steak. It did not have a lot of flavor … I had to use quite a bit of salt to bring any flavor out. The spaghetti was a bit too al dente for me. And it certainly could’ve used more meat sauce. I used to look forward to going to Angelina’s but I’m certainly not in a rush to go back. ———————— This review is for the pasta buffet on Thursday nights only. Disappointed. Barely warm mediocre pasta mush. I was excited to go once but I won’t be going back for the buffet. The minestrone soup was excellent. Piping hot! The garlic bread was unsatisfactory… mediocre also. I don’t know whether they’re cutting back by skipping on the garlic butter but it used to be slathered with butter and it was very tasty. This time, it it was like it was quickly brushed with butter. No butter garlicky taste. And it certainly was not made hot and fresh. It was tough and chewy! I’ve had many good dinners throughout the years at Angelina‘s. I normally like their spaghetti…the roast beef is good as is the calamari. Angelina has even catered a couple events for us…and they did a great job. But this buffet does not get it. I hope that’s not an indication of what their normal food/dinners are like now. I haven’t been there for quite a while. I’m not sure if or when I will return. Oh yeah, and the complementary fruit when you exit…no longer there! Wow. It made my night to grab a banana on the way out. I hope Angelina’s returns to its glory days. Normally they have yummy authentic Italian food. Somebody please let me know when they’re...
Read moreHorrendous experience! I will never go to this restaurant again. I'm recommending the same to my friends and family as well!
I attended a 40+ people birthday party May 27th. It started off nice, the employees were friendly, the food came out fast, it was going well.
My (Mexican) boyfriend (25 years old) and I decided we are going to get a drink from the bar, we walk over and are standing there for a while, its not busy and the bar tender is avoiding us, we move to the middle of the bar since we are being ignored and the man finally helps us. We order our drinks and the bar tender asks for my partners ID. That's okay, my partner takes out his 3 month old brand new California Real ID and shows the bar tender. The bar tender says he doesn't know if he can accept it because there is a small bend at the bottom of it and calls his manager over. The manager then comes with an attitude and said the bend is fine but he cant tell if this is the same person in the ID.. Might as well mention my partner has some identifying marks on his face, one mole on his nose and on his cheek that you can see in his picture. My partner takes out his passport ID card(that has a picture as well) and social security card with his matching name. The manager is now saying he cant tell if my partner is the same person in the photo or not. Other people at the bar are now intrigued and watching to see if his ID is fake so my partner is embarrassed and uncomfortable, so am I. The manager smiles and smugly says to the bar tender, this is how I tell if someones lying, laughs then says sign your name and lets see if your signature matches the ID. My partner signs the paper and the manager says loudly to the interested people, "no its not a match to me".
Not only did my partners signature match but he also showed 2 other forms of identification to these two and was denied.
We went to the front as requested to speak with the manger Mike to resolve this issue with the unprofessional staff. But the other man and front desk refused to get him because he was "making a salad". I'm not sure if this was a racial issue or what but I didn't see anyone else at the bar having this issue.
I already spoke with the party host and they will not be holding any further events at this establishment. The staff was unprofessional and had disgusting discriminatory behavior.
There bathroom at the bar is also disgusting and...
Read moreUsed to come here when I was younger this was my parents go to Italian restaurant. Hadn't been here for about 30 years. Came with my mom my son and my daughter-in-law. we were also going to take an order to go for my husband who could not make it to the restaurant. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating (at first) My mom and daughter-in-law ordered soup (minestrone) and salad bar. Salad bar was fantastic soup had no flavor. My son ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken. There was barely any chicken with in all the pasta. I ordered veal marsala (my favorite) with ravioli. My entire plate came cold, I wasn't going to say anything but my mother and son call the waitress back and let her know. She said she was going to reheat it took my plate walked out of the room and immediately return with my plate asking if that was warm enough. When she came back with my plate she had an attitude, She did not even take it to the kitchen to have it heated up it was still stone cold, ask me if it was warm enough now and I just asked for a to go box. I figured I could just warm it up myself and eat with my husband when I took him his food. We sat for about 10 minutes and our waitress never came back we had to get up and ask for to-go boxes and ask for our to go order to be placed. The rest of the time we were there her attitude was horrible this reflected in her tip and my mother is a very generous tipper. I arrived back at our hotel to have dinner with my husband only to find my food looked like it was swimming in grease. I had ordered tri-tip for my husband and they gave us the worst fat portion of the tri-tip where there wasn't even enough meat on it. I am thoroughly disappointed in Angelina's restaurant and will never refer anyone there ever again and certainly will...
