COCODAK w/ 92 Chicken — Restaurant in Stockton

Coco’s International was very clean and well maintained for the new store. My experience with COCODAK was pretty awful. The lady greeted us nicely and shared with us the menu, then asked what kind of chicken we wanted and what flavor.

I wanted Wings - Spicy Garlic My girlfriend ordered Wings - Honey Garlic

The cashier turns around to tell the cook our order, and the cook looks at her with a dumb face saying something like “i already made that order!” The cashier then says, “NOT THE OLD ORDER, THIS IS A NEW ORDER” then the cook looks at her completely confused on what is going on. We tried to stand their politely while they are yelling at each other going back and fourth, the cook then walks away, the cashier lady comes back for our payment and tells us it’ll be about 15 mins.

While I was waiting, the cook never came back and the cashier made our food. We did not think to check the food and unfortunately, did not get any wings. The lady gave us popcorn chicken - honey garlic and drumsticks only -spicy garlic. The flavors were disappointing wrapping up an overall terrible experience. Okay I noticed that they raised their prices, it’s now 10.99 for original and 11.99 for flavors and 13.99 for special flavors (7 pc wing&drumette)… I feel like this is more expensive than bonchon??? FYI currently bonchon is $15 ish for 10pc wing or 6 wings+3 drum stick. Also there is NO WINGS in my wing order, all drumette. The drumette are indecent sizes but I would actually like at least some wings??? I only came here because I found this place a while back and I remembered the prices were way cheaper than bonchon but today I finally checked this place out and it’s not exactly cheap, or am I hallucinating... Also our order took 25 min to cook. I rather eat at bonchon...

This place is inside the Cocos Food Supermarket, as you enter it’s one of the stalls on the far left wall. Got their whole chicken, which came with raddish and a red salsa-like sauce and didn’t seem korean. The chicken is just a plain fried chicken just like any other Korean fried chicken, no sauce. I was hoping it would be slightly more juicy, which the legs and thighs were okay but the wings and breast meat were very dry and tough to eat. It definitely has great chicken flavor, and the chicken tasted fresh. It’s decent, but I don’t think...
