Duck Nook Restaurant — Restaurant in Stockton

Im diabetic and i woke up hungry so i was excited when i found the duck nook not too far away from my house. My excitement quickly faded. I went with a friend and he qot the chicken fried steak that tasted pretty good but was so small that i should have known that something would be wrong with the 2 breakfast burrito meal that i ordered. Not only did it take 3 times as long to prepare as the chicken fried steak but when it showed up i was shocked to find out that the 2 burritos stated on the menu but was actually 1 (already small for the price) burrito cut in half! What the!!!!!!??????. I should have just gotten up and walked out without eating but im not that rude, i just ate my outrageously over priced breakfast and paid the bill and left. Went with my family I ordered chicken fried steak which I usually do when I go out I thought it was very good I liked the country potatoes they were very different my sister had the nude burger(no bun) and yes it was just that 1 slice of romaine 2 slices of tomato had to ask for onion not sure if there was even a pickle on it but it was an old fashioned real made hamburger not a pre made patty my cousin had the abc scramble which she said ok but liked country potatoes I would definitely go there again our coffee cups never went empty they were kept filled which is awesome because nobody likes paying for coffee at a restaurant and only...

Came here for the first time on Monday. Had breakfast planned with a friend and she suggested we try the Duck Nook as it was 1) 5 minutes away from her house and 2) It was a beloved Stockton diner. I've never heard of it, so it was a first for both of us. We arrived around 11am, and there were not many people, so we were seated right away.
