I am honestly furious and disgusted with how poorly I was treated as a paying customer to this location. I recently received coupons for Wiener schnitzel, and I wanted to treat my family to a fun meal as we do not get the opportunity to eat out often. My children love wiener schnitzel but after today we will never eat there again. Due to the pandemic we used the drive through to order our food. We had two coupons we wanted to use. One was for a family meal for $20 which consisted of 8 chili cheese dogs, 4 corn dogs and 4 fries. The next coupon we had was for $1 off of the chili cheese fries. Excited to finally get out of the house with my family and enjoy a fun meal, it took a devastating turn. We placed our order and put the two coupons to use and ordered 1 soda and the grand total came out to $33.88. I was little shocked & confused to see how high the price was even with coupons. While we were waiting for our food, I checked our bank account and to our surprise the worker must have charged us for something else because according to my bank statement they charged us $40.66! We immediately wanted to see what went wrong to see if they could fix it. I know it’s only a few dollars over but due to the COVID-19 our family has been impacted hard and every dollar is needed. We told the worker what happened and they said we had to wait for the manager to get back because she left to go pick someone up. About 15 minutes had passed and the manager finally showed up. We explained the situation and she took the food from us. We then decided to record what was going on in hopes someone would help us. We continued recording while the manager was telling us repeatedly that our bank must have “glitched” and she was only going to refund us the amount on the receipt even after showing her our bank statement. She started getting upset and told us to stop recording. And then she tossed our debit card and receipt at us and told us “she does not have to help us and to go to corporate” then slammed the window. We have everything on camera. We then knocked on the window to try and resolve the situation but no response. We then proceeded to call the police but by the time we called they already showed up. According to the manager she called the police and told them we were breaking the windows. Which on video shows we clearly only knocked on the window twice. When she talked to the police she said she didn’t mean to say that “ we were breaking the windows” and that she meant that we were knocking on them. The police got to talk to us and they said they “ can not force them to pay us back, and to come back tomorrow and try to work things out with the boss”. I am embarrassed and sick to my stomach knowing that a restaurant stole from us and could not get our money refunded to us. We have children and $40 may not be a lot to most people but to us that could be proved towards them or something essential. And now we are left empty handed until something gets done. And we will do whatever it takes to make that happen. I want this to go all over social media! What was done to us I hope never happens to any one else. We are humans not animals! It’s...
Read moreTheir small which is understandable but their food should still be fresh. I spent $30 for old tasting cold food. I've never been so disappointed with Wiener Schnitzel before. I only didn't go back because I was on lunch break and didn't have time. I threw it away and didn't eat nothing for lunch. The 6count corn dogs were still frozen when I bit into them, chilli cheese fries were cold and tasted like card board. They were hard and made me lose my appetite. I will NEVER go back to this one. I'll stay going to the one out north, never again!! Besides all that, the lady at the window was rude. She just hates her job its all written on her face and attitude. If I could give a 0,...
Read moreDrive thru takes a while when there's a line, but to me that just says the food hasn't been sitting there for hours. Compared to the two other locations I have been to in stockton, this place is 100% different. Clean. Fresh. Customer service is almost always exceptional. One cashier lacks completely in customer service skill, and I do wish management would address that. She works nights. But otherwise I love this place, and the location is great, it added more fast food variety to central Stockton. It has become my 4 year old son's and my ritual to go here once a week for an all beef hot dog, fries in a cup, and a hot fudge sundae, with caramel sauce...
