FED — Restaurant in Stockton

Okay so this review will be my hardest yet for many reasons however I owe it to myself and others to be honest. My daughter took me to Fed for brunch where we planned to have a cocktail with our food. To our surprise the place had one if those signs on the door that read their alcohol license was suspended. We asked the hostess about it and she confirmed they are not allowed to serve any alcoholic beverages. Since we came there for the food we really did not mind however while we were there we witnessed 3 large groups of people being served shots, mixed drinks and beer. We asked the hostess why these large groups of people were able to be served alcohol while there license was suspended and we were not? We could not get a straight answer from the hostess, bartender or manager on duty. As fortunate would have it one of my daughters friends who was in one of the groups being served alcohol came over with a couple of drinks that he purchase for us and they clearly were alcoholic beverages. When my daughter asked again about ordering a mimosa and pointed out all the shots, mix drinks and beer being served they finally brought us one. We could not believe the total disregard for the order to stop serving alcohol so we recorded videos, took photos and even took a photo of our receipt that shows the mix drink on the tab which is dated. Now as for the food it was at best average with the stake being far below average. The bathroom door was covered in graffiti which was surprising because the interior of the restaurant was not bad. The best thing about this establishment was the DJ who was very good. I can not in good conscious give this place a good review. If this place loosed it's alcoholic license I would not be surprised at all and as far as food, save your money it's definitely...

Very cute spot, nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. Came here for a friends birthday. Why the 3 stars? It would’ve been one star if it wasn’t for the great food. Although I was arriving with a large group, I made a separate reservation for a table for 4 to “double date” with another friend, her fiancé and my Bf. They were meeting my man for the first time so I wanted it to be nice. When I arrived they didn’t have my table. They basically gave my table away, saying my group arrived with extra people. Ummm…I specifically made a reservation under my name for a table of 4, not connected to the group I was with, they had made their own reservation to do bottle service.I had to demand a table to be cleaned and my other friend had to sit at the bar to be near us. So they just say “F your reservation”? Then it took over an hour…yes, over an hour to get our food after it was ordered. Our stomachs were eating themselves by that time and our one drink was metabolized out of our system by that point. I got a salmon my BF got a ribeye. Is there only one cook on a Friday night? We tried to be understanding, but wow. Our waitress maybe checked on us once. She was very sweet and I know it was busy, but she walked by several times and couldn’t even ask if we needed anything. I actually felt embarrassed bringing my BF there and having that as his first experience of meeting my friends. Maybe if I came on a Wednesday at 4p...
