Food Used To Be 5 Stars, But Of Course Due To Inflation, Prices Are Up & Quality of Food Drops Down. I’ve Noticed In The Last Few Years, It’s Been Way More Rice Than Anything Else on Their Rolls. Flavor is Still Amazing, But I Would Like Just A Tad Bit Less On The Rice. As Far As Service Goes, Front Hostess Desk Is Disastrous. I Waited On Hold For 20 Minutes By The Time They Finally Answered I Had Already Driven To The Restaurant & Sat & Watched As 2-3 of Them Sat on Their Personal Cell Phones Texting. As I Walked In, It Prompted One of Them To Answer The Holding Line Which I Then Placed My Order. She Stated It Would Be A 25 Minute Wait After Sitting son Hold For 20 Minutes. Smh. In One of The Hostess Defense, She Was Very Helpful & Pleasant. She Asked Her Team Member to Check On My Order Since It Had Been Past The 25 Minute Estimate They Gave All Their Call In Orders, & She Responded To Her Colleague, “Uhm.. I’ll go back there in maybe 3 minutes or so because I just came from back there and I didn’t see anything else ready.” During this time, I witness the Line cook for rolls finish my rolls and send them to the kitchen to get another item to complete my order, & instead of the hostess helping grab those orders, they continued on their phones, making kitchen staff bring the orders up to them. I’ve never sense such unwillingness to play as a team as I did with these young ladies. At one point even the bartender had to grab a huge stack of menus and bring them back over to the hostess desk since they were soooo preoccupied with each other talking and being on their phones. Food is always great, minus the excessive rice, but everything else, could definitely use an upgrade. To the hostess that was helpful, thank you and I appreciate you. To the entire kitchen staff, you’re much...
Read moreI work in the area and get take out here for lunch about 1-2 times a month. There have been previous times where our orders have been messed up, the major issue is when asking for extra rice instead of soup, half of the time we still get the soup. Last time we ordered, it was messed up, the first issue is when I picked up the food there was no rice at all, so I had to wait for them to scoop it. Then when I got back to work there was no dressing for the salad, no dipping sauce for the tempura or fried gyoza, and no sauce for the chicken teriyaki. When I called their solution was oh you can come back and we will give it to you, I guess they don’t know what a timed lunch means or what customer service is. After some back and forth the gentleman I talked to said we would get something comped next time we decided to eat there if I just provided my name and number. Well today was the day I called and guess what nothing was comped because the “acting manager” said we weren’t missing anything in our previous order. So I guess dry salad, dry chicken, dry fried gyoza, and dry tempura is what they serve. Her solution was to give me extra sauce this time, how does that help with the mess up from last time? I will never eat at this...
Read moreMisaki's is a pretty cool place to chill with some friends, eat some tasty sushi, and have a few sake bombs if you're not dissuaded by the movie theater crowds or buskers that tend to inhabit the area. Their prices are solid for the food you get, they have specials on sake bombs depending on the days you go and everyone is always super nice. They can get a little busy but I've never had to wait more than ten minutes for a table and usually their are spots at the sushi bar or actual bar although the actual bar is a bit small with only like ten seats. The decor is welcoming and they have mostly 4 to 6 people booths and a few more secluded tables for larger parties. There are a bunch of other places you can go around the area but Misaki's is definitely a mainstay in my books when I'm out and about in the area or just finished watching a movie next door and looking for a place to settle down and enjoy the rest of the evening. You can rarely go wrong visiting and I hope you have a much fun here...
