UPDATE: Visited the restaurant on 1/25/23 and went through the drive thru. We wait quite a while to order then finally got to the window and were asked to pull forward to the white line. We then watch other cars that ordered after us get their food and leave. We waited almost 20 minutes before we got our food. They gave no reason for the hold up and we did not have any special requested or special order. That may have been the last time we visit Cane's UPDATE: Went to get dinner there tonight and am completely disappointed. We sat in the drive thru line for about 20-25 minutes so we finally pulled out of line and parked. I went in to order which was much faster but when we go home was when the true disappointment set in. My chicken fingers were really small compared to what I have received before. The lettuce on my husband's sandwich was inedible. It looked rotten. For the price I paid I expected more. PREVIOUS VISIT: Drive thru was not busy and food was hot. Music they had playing over the speakers was really weird and staff handing food out did not pay attention to what was going on around them in the drive thru.

Alright, so I finally made it to Raising Cane’s in Stockton, and I gotta say—it did not disappoint. Even though it was packed, the service was on point. The staff was super friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming. I went with the chicken sandwich, and it was pretty solid. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and had that signature Cane’s flavor, but I won’t lie—it was a bit of a struggle keeping it from sliding out of the bun. Still, totally worth it. And let’s be real, Cane’s sauce makes everything better. The restaurant itself was really clean, which I always appreciate, and even with the crowd, our food came out crazy fast. Major bonus points for efficiency. Overall, if you’re craving some quality chicken with fast service and good vibes, this Raising Cane’s is definitely worth a stop. Would 100% go back.

Very different from when first opened. Very dissatisfied with their proportions, even ordered a side of fries and it was half empty too! Customer service went downhill with rude drive through staff. Put my drink outside the window where I couldn't reach instead of handing it to me ( I was not looking away she just didn't have the human decency to hand me my drink and treated me like a feral animal she doesn't want to be near ). The main star of the restaurant the toast, they barely butter it anymore and will serve it to you dry.

Update: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 PM Dinner here tonight was mediocre at best. $17 for six little chicken strips, some soggy mushy limp fries, dried out cold Texas toast and a soda‼️ Miserable miserable miserable. Chicken strips at least were almost hot. The fries and Texas toast should’ve been thrown in the garbage instead of being served! I think I’ve given this place too many chances. Why do I feel Chick-fil-A would be a better choice next time❓

———————- Update: Sunday, July 23, 2023 PM Food is OK. Fries need to be served hot! They were barely warm. 🍟 Music is way too loud….uncomfortable.👎🏻 You can’t hold a conversation with your partner. Why is it freezing in the restaurant? 🥶Do we have to dress for winter when we eat there? Come on canes, make it comfortable for your customers. That way your customers will want to come back instead of trying to get out of there! They were out of Coke zero‼️ If you want extra sauce, they charge you $.40 for 1 1/2 tablespoons of the sauce‼️👎🏻

Update: Sunday, August 7, 2022

NOTE: according to one of the employees, the restaurant will have new hours. Inside dining will close at midnight every night. The drive-through will continue to be open till 3:30 AM

I’m quite disenchanted with my meal at RaisingCanes. Each time I’m less satisfied. I asked specifically that my chicken and fries be hot and fresh. I was told they always are. That’s not the truth. They were both just barely warm. The chicken pieces were stringy and had hard chunks, like maybe they were over fried. Jack-in-the-Box and Carl’s Jr. has better chicken strips!! The fries are mediocre. Yes, they are crinkle cut fries but they’re so small and skinny that they get cold really fast. Then they’re no good.

Inside of the restaurant was literally freezing! An employee was sitting at one of the tables with her hoodie all the way up shivering. I finally went outside to eat because it was so uncomfortable inside. I was told the air conditioner was broken and that it should be fixed it in a couple of days. If the air conditioner is broken, shut the damn thing off!

This might be my last trip to Raising Cane’s. Certainly was not happy tonight.

————————— Update: Thursday, May 5, 2022 No Bueno tonight!

Dinner was a soggy mess all the way around.

The Texas toast was soggy and mushy!

The fries were fairly warm and limp and soggy.

The tablespoon of coleslaw that they give you was decent.

The chicken was OK but it had lots of hard pieces around the edges that were inedible and I had to break off!

This is unacceptable for the price they charge.

The iced tea was good!

I would think twice before I go back here again!

No Bueno!

Update: Monday, April 11, 2022 I swore I was not going back here again because of the loud atmosphere inside the restaurant last time. But… I broke down and went inside. To my surprise, the restaurant music and noise level was much more bearable this time. Thank you to the management for toning down the music. I again ordered the six piece combo. Six chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, a large drink. I substitute an extra piece of Texas toast for the coleslaw. I asked for my dinner to be hot and fresh, and it was! Good chicken strips, good fries. A lot more pleasant experience this time than last. The employees are always upbeat and helpful. They offer Coke 0 and good lemonade and sweet and unsweetened iced tea! I’m sure I will be back!

—————————— Food 4 1/2 stars Loud music 1 star

The volume of the music is totally insane inside the restaurant! Very very unpleasant.

I ordered the six piece chicken strip dinner. The chicken was satisfactory. The Texas toast was barely warm. The minuscule container of coleslaw was cute. The limp french fries are okay as long as you eat in-house but don’t plan on taking them home. You’ll wind up throwing them away!

One plus…they had Coke Zero and some decent iced tea…sweetened and unsweetened. Great assortment of drinks.

I was glad to leave. I won’t be back because of the loud music. ...

I was soooo excited to try out raising canes and since I was passing through I figured let's go ahead and get in line. Chile, I saw that line and I wanted to dip immediately but I stayed regardless and it was actually not that bad. The long lines are organized and when you get to the actual attendant to order it goes by quick. My 2 stars do not reflect this rating if anything it was a service error and the food itself. The attendant taking my order stopped me midway and said I'll be back my iPad just died so I waited 20 minutes and no one came back meanwhile I had people honking at me for no valid reason since it wasn't my fault. I had to get down and ask the other attendant on the opposite lime for help and she was surprised that no one was servicing the line and she didn't know where the other attendant was. She took the order and then I waited for the food in the food waiting area. It was long for a small order and when I did get it I was disappointed. The food tastes bland which is surprising because it looked so delicious on the plate especially the crispy looking chicken. The fries were too salty and trust me I love salt so when I say they were salty it was way too salty. I added sauce to everything because of how bland it was and it was not that tasty either way. It's another special version of special sauce like that of chic fil a but not as good since this one tastes more like bbq. The chicken was indeed crispy but it had no taste. There's no spice to their food and no flavor. The only thing I finished was the toast which was not great either the rest was given to my dog. I would skip the lines and go elsewhere and save your time because this place isn't it. If you do bring your ketchup, your jalapeños, your spices and other things you might need to season the...

Was visiting family in the area for the day and since we do not live in Stockton we live almost 2hrs away and wanted to get some food to bring home since we dont have anything remotely close to canes where we live so its always a treat to visit canes and of course love the sauce. We paid almost 80 bucks for 25 chicken strips and specifically asked for a large cup to put the sauce in since we had ordered so many strips and they repeated the order back to us and forgot to add the large cup of sauce so i again asked for it and went ahead to the next window to pay and asked again for them not to forget our sauce which they assured would be in the bag. Well, they handed the bag with the food to us and 2 regular drinks. Still no cup with sauce in it like i had asked for multiple times at this point and the lady who was at the window said the sauce was in the bag with an empty cup to put it in, ok not a big deal i wasn't worried about putting it in the cup ourselves an didn't want to hold up the extremely long line so we drove home and surprise surprise....no cup and absolutely NO SAUCE! So frustrating to ask multiple times and was told it was in the bag only to discover when we got home there was nothing. I understand canes is a very busy/popular restaurant and things can get hectic but after paying so much and patiently waiting in line for almost 30 min I'd expect to get what I ordered. Am I irritated? Yes! Will i come back cuz the sauce is so damn good? Hell to the yea! Am i gonna put a smile on my face and never mention this again next time we come back? Sure tf am! That sauce is too damn good it makes ppl act a fool when they don't get it! Still love ya...
