Wendy's — Restaurant in Stockton

I went to Wendy's Wednesday and found the side door locked, but saw people inside. Walked around the corner and the front door was unlocked. I was the only person in line, and a nice young man working the window said "I'll be with you in a minute!" Another nice gentleman cleaning asked if I'd been helped and I said yes, that a young man said he would help soon. After a minute or so, a young woman (maybe a manager?) saw me at the counter and said Oh I'm sorry, the doors are locked, inside is closed. I told her oh my, one door was not locked and the young man had told me to wait and he would help. Well, this very professional female "manager" said kindly "I can help you now." She put down the load she was carrying and quickly put my order together herself, and appologized for the wait. I was amazed how calmly and professionally she handled the situation. She did not call out anyone in public at all, and did not hesitate to help me with my order. I don't now her name, but she is a younger woman, slender and industrious, and handled the situation so impressively that I thought I should let them know. And BTW my meal was great! First time trying the nuggets and they are delicious (as are your burgers, fries, chili, frosty's and salads, items I usually purchase at this Wendys on Trinity Parkway). I went to this location on Friday November 19th, 2021.This is my second time at this Wendy’s ( I won’t go back!). Waited in drive thru for at least 5 minutes before I order. When Ingot to the window, a young girl said there was a hold up because there’s only two people working!! After waiting another 6-8 minutes, she came back with the wrong order. A young man came to the window and asked what did I order. I repeated my order and turned off my car engine. I waited another 3-4 minutes before I got part of my order. The young man told me he was off work but it was only one other person working. He had been there since 6 am( It was 4pm).. He. Continued to apologize. I had to pull over and wait for my nuggets. Everything else was cold!? I’m giving one star for the management. This is so unacceptable.. I even tried to call the corporate office. No one ever answered. This is so ridiculous..I totally blame the management. The staff are young and doing the best that they can. Oh, and by the way, there was an older man inside just walking around . He could have been a manager. He didn’t even try to help. I’ll be telling all my friends about...

They're usually very good,. But this time I had horrible service. I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich meals, after about 10+ minutes of waiting for my order, the girl cooking told me it would be about 5 minutes because she had to cook more. Another front counter girl apologized and said she'd bring them put to me. After about 10 more minutes I went back in and my order was still not ready. (I think they were giving my order out to the drive thru.). When I finally got my bag I asked which was the plain one ( as I had ordered one plain, and one regular, the front counter girl had originally told me the plain one would have the wrapper inside out). Both sandwiches were wrapped the same....so when I asked another front counter girl she had to go back, ask the girl making the sandwich, open the wrapper and see that they were both full of mayo, and the proceed to make another sandwich, and another 4 minute wait. My sodas were flat, my fries were cold and approximately 30 minutes later I was finally headed home. I asked for the manager, who suspiciously left...
