My reason for giving such a low review has nothing to do with the food at this location. This poor rating is all due to horrible customer service, which is something that this company claims to value. My colleagues and I are frequent customers of this location, however, today we were treated with completely distasteful service while calling an order in. The associate on duty at 2:23pm whom answered the phone to take our order did not realize that he did not mute the phone while he and the other associates made very rude comments after being asked "Is this Davido's Lithonia?" due to the restaurant's phone line having interference in it and it was also very loud in their background. The associate answered, saying "Yeah" and then said "Hold on". Once he put the phone down he proceeded to tell the others on duty at the time "This dumb ass on the phone gone ask me is this Davido's in Lithonia, naw bih, it's Davido's somewhere else!" Then a female associate in the background laughed and added "Naw B*tch this GOT D$MN Dominos!". A female associate came to the phone to take my order, I informed her that I heard the entire conversation and let her know that as a result of their behavior, they lost 10 orders and several loyal customers. I drove to the location to speak with the owner but was told by the manager on duty that the owner wasn't in and that she could not disclose the owner's information. She asked if I would like to leave my information, but, I refused due to her rude and carefree demeanor while I explained my reason for coming to talk to the owner face-to-face (looking away, rolling eyes, and sighing). The most recent issue involved a missing meal from my order, which I only realized after I had left the premises. Upon contacting the restaurant, they assured me they would rectify the mistake the next day.
When I returned the following day to collect the replacement dish and add another to my order, I was met with further frustration. Despite being told it would be ready shortly, I ended up waiting for an extended period. Upon revisiting the counter, the staff member, instead of addressing the situation professionally, laughed continuously upon realizing the error had occurred again. I attempted to convey the seriousness of the matter, emphasizing that it was not a laughing matter, especially considering it was the second mistake in consecutive days.
The lack of empathy and appropriate behavior from the counter staff was evident, as the laughter continued even when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I ultimately decided to forgo the additional item I had intended to purchase, as I had already invested over 30 minutes in this ordeal. I urge the ownership and management to instill higher standards for their counter personnel, emphasizing the importance of empathy and proper communication. You were supposed to receive a text when the food was ready and I never did, so I just went to the Pickup window at my estimated time. My food wasn’t ready, so I waited like an extra 15-20 minutes for my order. I got home to realize I didn’t get my Lg salad, instead I got a small and it was very skimpy on tomatoes and cucumbers. The Lasagna was so drenched in oil, it wasn’t even appetizing. On top of that, the meat sauce tasted burnt, like it was from the bottom of the pan. I called to speak to a manager and it took about 20-30 minutes to actually speak to someone. I asked for the manager and never got them on the phone, I was constantly detoured from the employee to speak to the manager. I told the employee what had done happened with the salad, she had extreme difficulty finding my order, had me on the phone for literally 23 minutes to resolve my issue.
