Mamie's Kitchen Biscuits — Restaurant in Stonecrest

Today I went here for lunch, around 12:45. My husband and I. I don’t normally write reviews at all, but the first time I went the food was good, that was early in the morning around 10Am. This time, We entered and the receptionist joking around, rushed us to order and stated that the menu wasn’t that big, laughing it off we walk over to order. I asked for a small and medium drink he still gave me a medium charging me for a medium and saying they are the same size. Which was rude but I let it slide, We wait for our order and it’s out in a good 3 minutes, versus the first time it took 15minutes. Thank God we don’t stay far, I get home and my biscuits are burnt up and hard, not fresh at all like they were sitting out and all of our food was cold. I also got the wrong order so we went back up there to get a remake and he refused and said that that’s what I ordered but I don’t eat bacon I wouldn’t order that but okay let me get a new biscuit at least, they gave me that but I will not be a original customer that I thought to be. The service is fake, rushed and trash! The second biscuit was slightly fresh and fluffy and all I could ask myself is why couldn’t I just get that biscuit in the first place. Why would you want to serve paying customers trash food? Getting home my husband finally opened his food to also a burnt biscuit and sausage that were still pink...

Initially I said 'no' to Mamie's because the line was out the parking lot, into the street, around the corner, and down the adjoining street. Oh, the grief Boyfriend gave me! You wanna talk about a guilt trip.. he got an A+ for that one LOL. Boyfriend always says anyplace with a line that long has got to be good.. As it turns out we ended up in traffic for a bad accident and detoured right back to Mamie's. We didn't wait in the drive thru line but got out and stood in the walk up line. Customer service is top notch - the guy at the counter was efficient and friendly, and made sure everyone knew just how very busy they were. They had 80+ call in orders, a drive thru line 15 cars deep, and 8 people in line but he assured us we would all be served. And when we were, it was delicious. We didn't wait long but appreciated him caring to prepare us for a wait. My son had to use the restroom and he let him go even though the dining room was closed.. and I was grateful. I'm very glad we ended up trying out Mamie's after all. We will certainly come back when in town again! ... because Boyfriend...

I took my daughter to Mamies Kitchen We both ordered the same items different being one pancake less …. I’ve been coming here for 14 years to date Waiting in long lines today we both went inside and waited for our orders Instead of fixing my daughter a proper breakfast like mines Her order was placed in a paper bag to go while my was plated grits eyes meat in a container plate with Pancakes but you put hers in a paper bag like we went to QTrip down the street Once I explain to the cashier She responded with her attitude not being one of appreciation considering I tip the tip jar also….. This time My experience with Mamie was awful I didn’t get up drive this far for children who doesn’t want to Cashier today….. I’m gonna try the restaurant across the street …. When you start becoming a good customer the employees doesn’t respect your hard earned money...
