99 Restaurants — Restaurant in Stoneham

If it was just the bartenders and the bar (I like Mike and the folks who run Trivia really a lot -- always a blast), I'd give it 5-stars, but IMHO the corporate "99 Restaurants" pervasiveness sterilizes any local significance imparted unfortunately.

Also, for COVID-19, corporate just left bartenders with no job and no income when the state (...commonwealth) closed restaurants (I get it, but still), and so what were these bartenders that many of us know on a personal level supposed to do? I care about them. I would follow the bartenders to another bar -- not 99 to another location.

Regarding the wait staff, from working in the food industry previously: they work hard and to their best effort within the resources provided by management (i.e., time, extra help available, etc), sometimes a lack a resource causes patrons with a false sense of entitlement to become angry (it's not the wait staff's fault... talk to their manager and tell them that your server needs help.) It can hurt them... I've seen it. Be easy.

However, there are a couple of newer people in Management who seem to have their heads on relatively straight, so let's hope we can get...

Horrible meal. First they didn't have a waitress for a table so we were forgotten for about 15 minutes. While we were waiting for a server, the customers next to us had their order screwed up. Then the customers in front of us had their order screwed up as well. Also while waiting one of the waitresses we saw was extremely rude to an elderly couple who were trying to move their table due to the cold near the front of the restaurant. The host, Aaron, came over and was nice and helped fixed the server mistake and explained that they had a lapse in the shift. A manager came over soon after as well, to explain the issue and apologized again, and offered a 25$ gift card. I would have chalked it up to just an honest mistake, but two separate servers having to separate screw-ups with food, and one of them being extraordinarily rude... it was just a piss-poor experience all around. I wasn't too fond of this 99 from a poor experience I had here a few years ago, and giving it another chance today was a mistake I don't ever plan on...

Ninety Nine someone needs to please get the BOH together, with the price of EVERYTHING these days so high its one thing to pay $90.00 for take out of an app salad 2 meals and a dessert at 99 but it's another thing to get it home and have it be so over cooked and disgusting that the only edible items were the salad and biscuit and coleslaw! The ribs are burt to a crisp like black and charred bones! Barely any sauce the fries for the ribs and cheeseburger are basically brown so over cooked and old old oil! Burger is so dryyyyyy and well done when ordered Med temp zero flavor and the gold fever wings are again so so over cooked so gross dark brown oily and half of them no sauce! This is absolutely ridiculous. After working 13 hrs today and being exhausted and paying 90 dollars all we have are salad which the chicken on that is pathetic and a slightly hard biscuit and half filled cup of slaw. Please someone get back to me. I work in service and this...
