Red Mango Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Stratham

On Sunday afternoon, I visited the bar area for lunch. Upon arrival, the bartender quickly asked for my drink order, to which I requested a menu first. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a martini and a sushi roll. The bartender promptly delivered both the drink and the food. However, after serving me, she did not check in to see if I needed anything else until I had finished my meal and was ready for the check.

I found this lack of follow-up to be disappointing, especially since I was craving water due to the spiciness of the sushi. I felt uncomfortable asking for water, as the bartender was seated, like a customer, at the bar conversing with a couple throughout my meal. I was surprised that she didn’t inquire about my satisfaction with the food or offer further assistance during my time there. I ended up trying to ease the spiciness of the sushi with my martini, which was not an ideal experience.

They were quick to seat us and quick to forget we were seated. Our server forgot our tea - which was requested twice - and she was terrible about remembering to refill our water too. They then sat a party of 11 right AFTER us, and made sure to serve all 11 people FIRST. (Our party was 4 people, with only ONE hot entree, two sushi rolls & a few a la carte items.) My Scorpion roll's taste was mediocre - and a little on the small side. My salmon was sinewy with a weird outside texture, making me wonder if this would be the meal that keeps on giving to the toilet god. (blahhh!!) I eat sushi all the time, and all over the US. This was by far the worst sushi I've eaten. Once the hot tempura meal finally came out - again, it was only mediocre. And since it arrived 30 minutes after our sushi arrived - it went home in a take-home container... Definitely should have gone somewhere else. I was very unimpressed and will never eat here again. “I arrived at this restaurant at 8:44 pm, knowing that the store was closing at 9:30 pm. Upon being seated, the waitress promptly came to take my order. She rushed me to order quickly, indicating that they were closing soon, without specifying the closing time. I placed my order and left the establishment at 9:05 pm. When she brought my order of teriyaki chicken, I requested teriyaki sauce, to which she responded that they didn’t have it and instead brought duck sauce. As soon as the food arrived, she immediately asked for payment, citing the restaurant’s impending closure. I paid, hurriedly ate, and left within 20 minutes. As I exited, I noticed other customers comfortably seated in the dining area and at the bar, seemingly unworried about the closing time.
