I've been gluten free for 11 years. I buy a chocolate Blizzard with M&Ms once a year -- if that. I stopped at this location on the way to a meeting Monday afternoon, bought a Blizzard to go, and as I wolfed it down during a 5-minute break, I bit into a huge chunk of Oreo cookie. This is the first location I've been to that kept canisters of Blizzard ingredients OUTside the kitchen, facing the customers waiting for their order. As I watched the (very) elderly employee making the customer-before-me's concoction, I had a feeling I was in trouble. Lo and behold, I'm up at 2 a.m., as sick as can be. I'm not blaming the elderly lady; this was a kitchen screwup. Please be more conscientious. I realize DQ doesn't cater to the gluten-free crowd, but we should be able to order something that should be gluten free and safe from cross-contamination from utensils (unlike a pizza place, where they use the same tool to slice every pizza) without fear of getting sick. Most of us who are gluten free hate having to be gluten free. We just want to be able to eat like everyone else...
Read moreEmployees were nice enough but they really had No Clue.
The women in front of me in line continued and continued to explain what she wanted and the person at the register just couldn't get it? The employee didn't know the menu, couldn't function the register, and just seemed to not understand basic concepts...this hold that...large size this...plain this...etc. Then I had the same problems when I placed my order. Then the women's order finally comes out and is completely wrong, so she explains and explains and explains again and the register person is at a loss and seeks help from another employee...they both try and try then the women somehow has to pay for her food again?...so while she is waiting for her "corrected" order my order comes out...and you guessed it....completely wrong ( not even close to what was ordered). While I was there I overheard many of the same issues from the drive thru speaker...
Read moreIf this was my local DQ I wouldn't be back! The subpar customer service started right away. Halfway through ordering, my daughter decided to add tomato and lettuce to her sandwich. The worker in the back got mad and slammed things. Apparently he forgot we can see and hear him. The food was brought to our table quickly, but my blizzard looked a mess and he refused to tip it upside down. When I went to the counter to ask another worker about it, he had immediate attitude and stated they don't do that to that specific type of blizzard. I then asked since when and he got even more irritated with me telling me they don't do that at this location. I'm not going to argue with a young man on a power trip about getting the free blizzard. You can see from the picture...
