Pearl's Kitchen — Restaurant in Stroud

As someone who loves sushi, I was really glad they opened! I got the super crunch and the Las Vegas roll and they were large and yummy! The hibachi my husband got was less than appealing. My husband could do without the tails on the shrimp. And the rice- was HORRIBLE. That fried rice had no veggies, no egg. Nothing. The only thing that made it fried rice was it was fried…. Rice. And not good. Needed flavor. I spit it out. I believe they just haven’t got their machines working yet but I’d prefer my drink not come from a can. I like ice… and a cup. Lastly, and probably the reason we ended up getting to-go boxes and leaving was because it was DREADFULLY hot in the restaurant. The people were so so polite. I had a terribly long day amd drove 3hours for my friends birthday and on my way back to ada I stopped here. It was wonderful. The people were so pleasant and made me feel better about being alone and the food. Goodness the food was amazing. I hadn't eaten all day today and it was all fresh. So my wife and I tried this restaurant yesterday . Newly remodeled from an old Mazios. Tacky decor, counter already peeling. The specials were a good price, servers were friendly, however we both very specifically ordered no mushrooms on our food, we both got mushrooms. On top of that a few pieces of the chicken had a foul/old taste. We thought well it was ok but not amazing. However we both spent our evening sick as a dog.
