KEY TAKEAWAYS: overpriced, UNPROFESSIONAL/rude servers, & rundown! Hour and a half to leave being one of two tables!! Walking in, there were two other tables (already eating), and around three different servers sitting either at the countertops or behind on their phones. After squashing the ants on the table waiting to get greeted and growing rather bored, we finally saw who I’d assume was the owner ? coming out and telling a server to come over (while we’ve been staring and waiting to be served). We gave drink orders, and when she came back she asked if we were ready to order food. Since it was my first time, I was between two so we wanted another minute, but to start off with the calamari. Maybe a minute or two later we were ready to order, just waiting on our server once again. Staring and waiting..staring and waiting, while she’s on her phone and chit chatting and worried about anything else. Around 10 or so minutes go by and she comes over, with an attitude stating “are you ready to order yet? The kitchen closes at 7:45” ,, since we had been sitting there waiting on her to care enough to come by and ask, with closed menus we said yes, trying to brush off the very rude demeanor of our waitress. She takes our orders, and leaves, the chef brought out our calamari and it was great! Server brought out the side salads for our meals, small portions but with a meal coming after it surely would’ve been plenty. Until I got my chicken Marsala and realized my chicken (the smaller breasts of the 3 chicken dishes ordered) wasnt cooked all the way! I noticed fast and asked the table to try it and they agreed it was slimy and underdone. Only mine thankfully, Im a pretty understanding person! I try and get the servers attention for a couple minutes… more time goes and at this point I’m debating just walking up and telling someone? Idk Im used to servers that care about your experience, but apparently personability wasn’t a focus as much as the phones, makeup bag, her “fat wallet” etc. (props for the entertainment tho). I notice an elderly man has to walk over to get his servers attention for boxes so I’m assuming I’m going to have to as well (btw they got there considerably after us) Luckily she sees me now that I’m standing! She walks over and asks if there’s anything wrong, I told her my chicken’s undercooked and honestly I wasn’t crazy about the Marsala sauce, it was pretty soupy, so I’d rather just have it taken off since I know the kitchens already “closed” and I say that in quotations since around 8:15 ish? There was a man getting his Togo order.. she said “I’ll see what I can do“, she proceeded to tell the other server about it and then went back to her phone. The (assumed) manager/chef came out of the kitchen and got upset about not being made aware of what happened (we can see and hear just ab everything) the server proceeds to say the drinks and salad were her job and everything else wasn’t her problem.. returning to her phone haha. I’m sitting there for 20 or so minutes waiting for the resolve or to see what’s going on ? For her to FINALLY come back, drop off a check and leave..A check charging me for the side salad, which is fine but nothing was explained or talked about, just a random $7.95 charge added to our bill and I’m thinking this can NOT be right for this measly little salad I ate earlier this has to be a mistake. I didn’t get a full salad I got a side since I was getting a meal.. went up calmly and asked our server what the charge was, her response was snippy and by then I was done with the attitude so I asked to speak to a manager, to which she pointed to another server. The ringaround I was getting with no ownership from “management” was ridiculous, the side salad I got with my meal being 7.95 and nothing being said in regards to my poor dining experience. the audacity of the server to YELL at us to LEAVE across the store while we were leaving and escorting a senior veteran out, was more than unprofessional. It was disrespectful. Trust me we wanted to leave for a while and will never come...
Read moreI would not even give this one star but the system does not work if you don’t enter at least one. Quite possibly the worst dinner we have ever had. The place is so dated and the staff so unfriendly and non communicative. We ordered the chicken and veal Marsala and the spaghetti with marinara. All plates looked like the food was dumped onto them from a can. The presentation was absolutely gross and the food flavorless. Marsala? I don’t think so. Just the appearance totally took away our appetites. We each had maybe two fork fulls and when the waiter came to take away the plates he didn’t even think to ask if there was something wrong with the food when he saw the plates as full as when they were served. The merlot and Pinot Grigio were not drinkable. - Ripple maybe! The three little plates that were stacked for the bread were dirty and wet. I had to use my napkin to wipe them off. That does not bode well for the cleanliness of the kitchen. $75.00 spent and we came home to have a bowl of cereal. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There are many better options for Italian food in the area. We should have sent the food back but we just wanted to get out of there as we had a guest with us. It was embarrassing to...
Read moreHonestly, just don't go. The service was bad, the food was bad & the restaurant is run down and not taken care of. Upon entering, the server/ hostes told us that since our group was less than 5, we are not allowed to sit at a "round" table. They are all reserved. This is the same thing that was told to the 1 other table of people sitting in an otherwise empty restaurant. These "reserved" tables still would not have anyone sitting in any one of them by the time we left. In addition to that, the food was terrible. The garlic bread tasted like 2 day old supermarket garlic bread and the lasagna was worse than frozen lasagna from the grocery store. It wasn't even hot, just Luke warm, with a meat "paste". You could tell it isn't made in house. To add to the negative experience, the server kept forgetting things for our table & we constantly had to wait for something to continue that portion of the meal. One final straw "to break the camels back" was the bad condition of the restaurant. It had broken tiles laying on the floor, broken lamp shades and light bulbs out, and then finally a screwdriver holding up the front door. Don't go, please don't go, this place is terrible all around. Don't say I didn't...
