Walked in to the owner and a another lady who worked there bickering behind the counter. Stood there for a minute before either of them greeted me as they continued to bicker back and forth about work. The owner came and took my order and preceded to begin making the sandwiches NEVER PUTTING ON GLOVES!!! The lady made my sandwich and she too NEVER PUT ON GLOVES!!! I didn't say anything because I guessed this is normal practice for them as nonchalant as they were. Handling money and then pumping hand sanitizer in your hand and beginning to make more sandwiches is absolutely disgusting. My sandwich was mediocre at best. They only take cash and I never see them actually ring anything up or give receipts. I don't know how this place is still in business. The owner seems to only sake your hand if you're a male.. I watched two other customers, both male, come in and pick up their orders they'd called in and both received a handshake, me a female... Nothing. The female worker that the owner was bickering with was clearly upset about whatever it was they were bickering about. I will not ever spend my money here again. Eat at...
Read moreI went here yesterday for the first time after a friend of mine has been raving about it for a while. First off the sandwiches I got were great! But I wasn't to pleased that after I came in and put in my order there were several other people who came in after me and put in their orders and got theirs before mine. Then the guy who I'm assuming is the owner and the one making the food gave everyone a handshake then it came to me and nothing! He took my money, gave me my change, handed me my bag of food and walked away. Even the sign says a handshake, I sat in their establishment for at least 25 minutes waiting and you just walk away as if I'm not as special as your other guests.. Okay well I've got some mixed signals about this place. Granted the food was very good, I expect to be in a welcoming atmosphere also. And I definitely didn't receive that here. Way to make me feel as if something is wrong with me. Not to sure if...
Read moreI'm a Stuart resident and have eaten at Rinaldi’s for years, before and after it changed hands. The food and selection are both great. But stopping in for a lunch sandwich over the weekend, I was shocked that none of the four workers wore masks, including the food preparer and the cashier who took my order. No PPE of any kind. I understand that Florida is open and that masks are a choice, but I prefer to support businesses that are considerate enough of their customers to practice CDC safety guidelines. (Rinaldi’s responded to a previous reviewer’s comment about masks by saying that they welcome customers with or without masks -but the reviewer was speaking about workers, not customers, as am I.) If PPE doesn’t concern you, the food is good and the selection is excellent, but if PPE is a concern,...
