Lokee Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Suffolk

Lokee has been one of my favorite happy hour spots in Suffolk—the music is always a vibe, the hookah is smooth, and the food is consistently hot and reasonably priced. Nisha is a great bartender and truly one of the highlights of the lounge. Her drinks are usually on point and she brings a friendly, professional energy to the bar.

However, my recent visit left me second-guessing. We were charged for extra coals that were brought to our table and switched out without anyone asking if we wanted or needed them. There was no mention that it would come at an additional cost, which felt a bit misleading.

To add to that, we were surprised to see $14 charges for Jose Cuervo—their well tequila—despite it being during happy hour. I don’t mind paying for a good time, but nearly $30 for two well drinks that we assumed were on special was frustrating and felt like a bait-and-switch.

Overall, while I still enjoy the food and atmosphere, these unexpected charges took away from the experience. I’ll definitely be more cautious before...

Lokee is hands-down my favorite happy hour spot in Suffolk! The vibe is always on point—from the smooth hookah to the great music that keeps the energy flowing all night long.

Shoutout to Nisha, the absolute BEST bartender! Her drinks are consistently mixed to perfection, and she always brings such a welcoming and upbeat energy to the bar. Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, she makes sure you're taken care of.

The food? Delicious and always served hot—definitely above what you'd expect from a hookah lounge. Everything from the wings to the appetizers hits the spot every time.

This food was trash. Nothing gourmet...the caprese salad was old brown lettuce with grape tomatoes. The Greek spaghetti was old trash that wasn't even fit for a garbage can...cold dry and again grape tomatoes not even close to the description...the grilled cheese was flat dry and plain and the nachos...spilled all over the bag and I had the ends of nacho Chips all for $70...trash literal garbage. So disappointing. Obvious that they hire degenerates to work there and hav3 no sense of business...I'm guessing you won't last...literally all cold, dry and not even what I thought i ordered.
