My mother and I have been going to this location regularly for almost 4 years and have had good experiences until recently. Since we go so often to Starbucks we are gold card members and can get iced coffee refills for free. Well my mother who is chronically ill doesn’t like to be around a lot of people or get too cold or hot. Well my mother went today to this location of Starbucks and since she was more comfortable in her car which was literally parked in the first spot directly in front of the door and maybe 2 feet from the outdoor patio area. She finished her first drink and because she “left” the premises by going outside and not sitting in the cafe, they refused to give her a refill and was going to charge her full price for another iced coffee. Well let me say that they have asked me if I left the premises and I was sitting on the bench seat in front of the espresso machine. I also assume that anyone sitting outside is going to be considered as left the premises. Well we have had it with this location and we will be taking our money elsewhere, every since the current manager Brandi has been at that store it has gone down hill fast, and she throws the biggest attitude and no costumer service skills at all! The overall atmosphere of the store has changed, and we are done...
Read moreBefore I showed up today, I was already thinking about how places like Chikfila and Starbucks that sell great products and have drive thrus really help me out as a stay at home Mom with young children! Young children are taxing for real at times. I have a newborn who is colicky and fussy and have been spending a lot of time and energy trying to comfort them (many times to no avail). I didn’t mention any of that to the Starbucks barista today but just said “sorry you’ll hear my newborn crying in the background while I order, he’s loud!” He replied “awe! I have a young niece, and I understand!” He took my order, and when I got to the window, he said “I got you!!”, and they waved the payment away! Wow!! Yes to save the $ is wonderful, but honestly, when kids (and really life) can be so unforgiving and unrelenting, to have this “break” of kindness almost brought me to tears. An unexpected gift and breath of fresh air! The right thing at the right time can mean SO very much, and you really got it right Mr. Barista. Thanks for recognizing an opportunity to really make a difference in someone’s day with your KINDNESS! God bless...
Read moreIf I could I'd give this place no stars. For one it's LOUD inside and you're required to repeat your order multiple times and it's NEVER RIGHT. Even if you order something right of the menu with no little extras or variation, they can't even get that drink right. The coffee is never fresh and always has the twinge of burntness to it. Lord help you if you get irritated at an employee who is not listening when you're trying to tell them how you want your coffee because of dietary restrictions because nothing is ever right and at least one of the managers will straight up argue with you that you didn't ask for soy milk instead of regular when CLEARLY you did. This location is horrid and the employees are rude and have no concept of socially acceptable behavior at work, let...
