Today, 8/20/15, we experienced a disgraceful circumstance at your store number 6840 in Palm Desert CA. Two obvious homeless or displaced individuals were inhabiting the store. One, who we have seen numerous times in other stores, was obviously just passing the time in the store out of the 110 degree weather. Playing video games on his cell phone or Gameboy. He did have a drink, but for the 30 plus minutes we were there he didn't take even one drink. He was not disturbing anyone but it was not what I would think Starbucks would like to ignore for the sake of actual paying customers. The store was crowded and he did occupy a two person table. The other was more of a homeless person. He too had a drink he never once drank from. He, however, was more disheveled, three times stood up, sprayed bug spray on his head and body, took a corner easy chair and put his duffel bag on a nearby two person table, taped a newspaper to the window to block the sun and then went to sleep. I notified the shift manager Priscilla after about 15 minutes. She said "oh my" but did nothing. After 15 more minutes I spoke with her again, and after I told her I was contacting corporate she approached him, woke him and I assume he left shortly thereafter. When I asked why she didn't do anything sooner, she said it was company policy not to ask people to leave. I have been frequenting Starbucks for over 35 years and since you have developed your "wi-fi no lousy bum with a 1/2 cup of coffee can camp out forever in spite of other paying customers requests for Starbucks to get back to some decency policy" Starbucks has gone downhill drastically in spite of your annual earnings. Although I truly enjoy your product, I will at every opportunity, frequent other coffee shops who do not prefer bums over actual paying customers. My wife mentioned due to him spraying himself with bug spray, she felt repulsed about the cleanliness of that chair and area...
Read moreExperienced two bad services in this Fairfield , Ca , Oliver street today at 1:45pm 3/25/16 I was in a drive thru and seated for 10 minutes and have to back out because it was hot and humid .. I came inside and letting them know that there is a standstill outside and line is not moving . I was thinking they were closed.. I was told by this young lady that they have 7 orders of Frapucino that's why . And when I was getting ready to order she told me that my order will be delay too!!? I just walked out and felt angry after 15 minutes wait and was late for my 2pm appointment.
The other experienced same store was early morning , she was given me attitude and slam the automatic window harder than normal because she did not understand how to reload my Starbucks card . My bad i used the word "refill" instead so she did not understand it .
. In my experienced even McDonald's and other fast food places have the big order moved over and get the rest of the cars order moving . This lady felt entitled that they have a big order to do . The customer in this store is zero .. Young cashier did not even apologized for the inconvenience for the rest of the people sitting out in a hot weather . There were only 5 people on a busy hot Friday ..no apology was given to me for my wait ...
I think customer service in some areas needs to be improved and changed . They need to respect customers and apologized and not felt entitled.
Bathroom in one of the Hayward, Ca Starbucks in grove street is always out of toilet paper and its dirty .. Cashier had piercing on her lip and I could hear them talking about she's still on her break , and some foul language in front of me waiting for my drink ..
I hope you guys are listening and have this as a positive changed in some of your stores ..
Appreciate your feedback because I do love my Starbucks !!
Thank you!

Read moreI really like this Starbucks — the drinks are always on point, and the staff are friendly and fast inside. The only downside is the drive-thru setup. There are no clear markings or signs to guide the line, so cars often end up blocking the road and parking lot entrances. A few times I’ve had to sit and wait or even hop a curb just to get out.
It’s not the employees’ fault at all — they do great with what they have — but the layout definitely needs some better traffic flow management. I’d recommend some soft barriers directing people to circle the building to line up for the drive through. If that ever gets fixed, it’d be a...
