Unfortunately less than one star isn't an option! I ordered a pizza online for delivery. The young man answering the phone asked if minded being placed on a brief hold. My response to his question was, "Yes I do mind". He put me on hold anyway. After a 5-minute hold, he came back on the line. I asked him, "Why do you ask people of they mind being placed on hold and they respond that they do mind....and you put them on hold anyway. His very mature and customer-service oriented response was to hang up the phone. I attempted to call back with the delivery driver on the front porch and THIS STORE refused to answer the phone. The impetus for the call was a late pizza. I placed the order at 6:10 p.m. and was advised that it would take 35-45 minutes. At 7:30 I did not have my pizza. I finally got the Shift Manager on the phone who had no idea which male employee hung up on me....so much for being the Manager on duty when you are clueless as to what your Shift is doing and who is performing what functions. So not only was the product extremely late but the Store absolutely sucks at providing the customer service they were paid to provide. I filed a complaint with the corporate office and am awaiting calls from the Store Manager and the Area Manager. That male employee should be unemployed NOW! The Shift Manager should go back to prepping pizza until she can figure out what the task, dutoes, and responsibilities of the Shift Manager are and how to perform them. Frankly, I don't expect to receive those phone calls...I think this franchise is...
Read moreRating has more to do with management communication than quality of food & I'd probably give it a 2.5 if that was an option. Tone was curt when calling for clarification. When order placed for delivery address was entered incorrectly even though it was spelled & repeated more than once & additional information regarding development was provided. Delivery that was supposed to take 20 minutes had yet to arrive after an hour. When delivery driver called for clarification of address we were informed manager new & unfamiliar with area.
Suggest manager verify info by read back prior to hanging up & exercise a little patience on the calls. Pizza was fine, Pan specialties, just wish they still tasted like they did when I was a kid.
Used to go to location on Portsmouth Blvd before they closed almost once a wk because of the amazing customer service provided by one of the employees. I can't recall her name but it was a black woman who seemed to work all the time, drive thru & dining room. She was always very pleasant, professional, efficient, & attentive. I always felt like she should be in charge of training everyone that ever enters in the field of customer...
Read moreI order from this location often, but the service is horrible. The manager hung up in my face and refused to fix my order when they delivered pizza with the wrong toppings. When I tried to call back, he refused to answer the phone, and wouldn’t refund my money. My husband ended up having to leave work to go to the location to get a refund on the order. Tonight, my order took over an hour for delivery. I did not order contactless delivery, yet the driver didn’t ring the doorBell. The driver left my order on the dirty ground. My pizza was barely warm, and the toppings were dry. They forgot my 2 liter Starry, which is why they probably didn’t ring the doorbell, and just left an incomplete order. I didn’t receive a copy of my receipt either. I attempted to call the restaurant 3 times, but there was no answer. So I guess Pizza Hut is tipping themselves with the money for my Starry. Just terrible service!!!! If they mess up your order, or don’t want to deal with you, the staff will just ignore your calls. I’m not doing anymore business at this location.
