I am a travler, I visit and spend lots of time and money at wawa EVERYDAY,The reason for the frequency is my DeLaCha,LATTE, umm, to die for ,I just had great smiles and laughter soon as I walked in with both cashier ,THEN I GET OVER THERE TO GET MY DRINK ,AND THERE'S A ""PROBLEM "" IT MAKES NO SINCE FOR ANYONE TO HAVE TO FEEL EMBARRASSED OR TALKED ABOUT WITH THE OTHERS BEHIND THE WALL THAT I COULD HEAR,BECAUSE I ALWAYS ASK FOR MY DRUNK IN A 24OZ CUP AND I LIKE A LITTLE MORE MILK. Doesn't that sound silly ??? In a customer if that's what I want it shouldn't be a problem ,but Gene is her name I do believe , made my visit very ugly ,and it makes me not be the nice and personable person that iam ,when I feel like I have to explain myself that this is how I get my drink at all the wawa I have and go to , never a problem in the 2 yrs of the delacha's AND THEN TO NOT EVEN DO AS I ASKED IS SIMPLY BEING MEAN ,AND NOT TRYING TO MAKE A CUSTMER HAPPY ,,JAMES THE MANGER HANDLED IT IN A GREAT MANAGER WAY , AND MADE THEM AGAIN HIS SELF , AND TGEY WERE AWESOME , "" NOW WAS THAT SO HARD""" FOR A DIFFERENT HOT CUP AND A LITTLE MORE MILK ,,SOUNDS SILLY AND GENE U SHOULD FEEL SILLY TO HAVE TO ACT THAT WAY IN A PLACE OF BUISNESS LIKE WAWA°!!!!! I stopped at this Wawa to use the restroom & get a few snacks ( 1 healthy & 1 guilty pleasure) Don’t judge me 😩. Anywho, the restroom was fairly clean to include the overall look and feel of the store. This is the first outside seating I have seen at any Wawa and it is very nice!
A few of the ( not so goods). No one said hello at all. There were 2 employees who walked past me, but said nothing. Everyone looks so down. I also did not see a-lot of diversity where the food is being made.
Not to say there isn’t any but at the time of this review it is around 1pm so shifts should include more cultures.
I think it is vital to ensure on all shifts it is colorful & diverse. As a Business & IT Strategist there are always ways to improve even for me 🙃. This is how the business learns & grow.
Customer Service & Retention are major KPI’s in business especially front facing such as Wawa, fast food even high end restaurants.
Overall not to bad but being friendly & having a smile doesnt hurt.

Read moreOn Wednesday I apparently lost my wallet at Wawa Godwin Blvd. A wonderful person (not sure if a guest or a teammate) turned it in to management who put it in the safe and started trying to contact me. On Saturday morning, I received a FB Messenger from teammate Maddie Hobbs. I nearly cried when I got there to pick it up and discovered every single thing was in it. Driver's License, Medicare card, even the card given to my dad when he was discharged from the Army Air Corps after WW2. Not to mention every dime of the cash. What a blessing!
