My fiancé and I decided to visit this establishment On Sunday. It was very crowded and there was definitely an extensive wait time to say the least! We decided to get our food to-go. As we proceeded to walk towards the bar area to place our order we notice a couple getting up from the bar. We then informed our server (Josh) we will like to purchase 2 cups of coffee as we waited. We received our coffee and continue to chat while waiting on our food order. Once we received our order we continue to sit while enjoying our coffee. Minutes pass and a couple stoped next to were we sitting. The couple inform the server(Christina) they wanted to sit at the bar and they were expecting another person in their party. The sever then proceeded to approach us and ask my fiancé and I “to move so that the couple next to us can be seated with their third party” I was baffled yet disappointed as to how we were being treated. We then continue to sip our coffees.I politely told the young lady “I will not give up my seat to accommodate anyone while I am also a paying customer just as they are!” After gathering my thoughts , I then proceeded to ask for the manager (Josh). I explained this type of treatment was totally UNACCEPTABLE and UNETHICAL! I will never dine at this establishment again!! I will be be sure to inform all of my colleagues, family , friends about the UNFAIR treatment I received as a African American Female living in 2022! At some point this has to STOP , My suggestion for this company as a whole will be to conduct a...
Read moreI was fairly excited to go here for breakfast, but had a not so great experience.
Pros: The food was decent but nothing particularly special. The regular coffee was strong and hot. My friend ordered the apple crisp pancakes, and she enjoyed them.
Cons: Took a while to get my coffee because the server forgot multiple times but kept forgetting. I didnt complain but they apologized for wait each time they forgot. The menu and the server were unclear about what came with my meal. I ordered the Turkey Bacon plate, which the menu stated came with egg whites, fruit, and toast. However, when ordering, the server asked if I wanted potatoes or grits and whether I preferred an English muffin or a biscuit. I had planned on possibly ordering a side of potatoes so was like sure. When my meal arrived, I was disappointed. It consisted of two small, undercooked slices of turkey bacon, overcooked eggs, and a small portion of potatoes (less than 1/4 cup). To say the least there was a lot of open space on my plate. I asked the server about the missing fruit and was told that the potatoes had replaced it, but I wasn’t informed about that option during ordering. Additionally, they said the meal didn’t come with the toast or biscuit, even though the menu stated it would and they very specifically asked me what I wanted. The portion sizes were underwhelming, especially considering the price.
Overall, the experience was not great. While the coffee was good, the food and service left much to be desired. I won't be back...
Read moreI did not want to write a negative review on this establishment because the food is phenomenal. My issue is that the last 5-6 times my family and I have ordered take-out from here- so many things have been wrong. Again, the food is so amazing that we just keep dealing with their [unbelievably] poor attention to detail. Flatware is always missing. Condiments are always missing. If you ask for extra of something (and pay for it) it will not be in your order. If you ask them NOT to put something on your food- it will be on it. If you ask for one pancake instead of an order- you will get (and pay for) an order. And don’t ever expect them to remember to give you your drinks with your to-go order when you pick it up. Honestly, it’s exhausting having to not only repeat and check your order upon arrival, but stand there hungry (with a hungry family waiting at home) while you have to walk multiple employees through what all was missing or wrong. And the employees will act like you’re burdening them by simply asking for what you paid for. I am by NO means the “Karen” type and I even feel ashamed when I have to tell them that everything is wrong- and that’s ridiculous. Most of the time my family and I just deal with it because the food is so great. But if I’m paying $50 for a breakfast, I’d at least like for it to be what I ordered. Let me reiterate; the food is amazing, and why I keep giving them a million chances- but their [seemingly] blatant disregard to requests and detail is certainly...
