Boba & Broth — Restaurant in Sugar Land

I really wanted to like this place, I used to love Teapresso Bar (the location this replaced). I was really excited and went on both opening day and again a few days after opening. The art and atmosphere is really cute and I love the support of local artists. However, the customer service is pretty bad. Both times the workers struggled for a while to input the orders correctly, I got told my drinks couldn't have a topping at first. Then it took a really really long time to get our drinks (opening day is understandable, but the second time we were the only people in the store). Finally, the sizing is AWFUL. I'm paying the same amount for a drink here and getting a cup that is half the size of a normal boba drink from any chain. You don't know what drinks come in what cup size and both times (refresher and coffee) they came in cups half the size with half of the cup full of ice. I paid the same price as an average size, what's going on? There's also a really bad flea/fly infestation and they kept landing on and in my drink and biting me and my friend, we had to leave to sit somewhere else it...

I must say, I was a little bit sad when the previous Bobo place closed down. But it was replaced by something so much greater. It took me a couple of times to realize the true charm of this place. This is a family owned boba place where both the food and the drinks taste truly family owned.

The brisket bahn mi is actually one of the my favorite meals of all time.

I love the way they support local artists as well. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a little bit gimmicky to be honest. But it became one of my favorite things that any other boba or restaurant has ever done.

They are also so community friendly, as I see groups meet up here all the time. This isn't really something you see outside of all the places near universities, so the fact that you have this inside Sugarland of all places is amazing.

This place has The vibes that tea House used to have back in the early days in 2013, and I'm all for it.

In addition, the people who work here seem to be so friendly.

We found Boba and broth while looking for a coffee spot near my gym, and it turned out to be such a great find! It’s not just a coffee place they serve a variety of healthy food and drink options like smoothies, green juices, soups, and ramens that make it a perfect post-gym stop.

Their ramens are a must-try, especially the Vegan Creamy Soup and Miso Soup with Shrimp Tempura both are rich, flavorful, and comforting. I’ve been here several times just for their ramen, and it’s consistently amazing. Their coffee is also really good, which makes this spot even better.

The place itself is super aesthetic, filled with art, stickers, toys, and all kinds of cute and creative items for sale. They also support local artists, which makes the vibe even more special. You can even get 10% off if you’re an EOS member, so that’s a nice bonus!
