If you’re a food lover or someone who enjoys exploring a wide variety of fresh, authentic Asian ingredients, 99 Ranch Market in Sugar Land is a true hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the rich aroma of fresh produce, roasted meats, and ready-to-eat meals that immediately awaken your senses.

The store is incredibly well-stocked with an impressive selection of groceries from across Asia—Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, and more. Whether you're looking for specialty noodles, rice varieties, sauces, frozen dumplings, or rare snacks and candies, you’ll find it all here. Their seafood section is especially popular, offering live fish, crab, lobster, and a wide variety of freshly cleaned and prepared seafood that you can even have steamed right there.

The produce is fresh and diverse. From bok choy and lemongrass to exotic fruits like dragon fruit, rambutan, and mangosteen, it’s perfect for anyone looking to cook authentic dishes at home. The meat and poultry section is also expansive and well-organized, with options you don’t typically find in standard grocery stores.

What really sets this location apart is the hot food section and bakery. You can grab freshly roasted duck, pork belly, or BBQ pork, and their cooked meals are delicious and affordable—a perfect choice if you're craving a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. Their in-house bakery offers freshly made breads, buns, egg tarts, and cakes that are both tasty and beautifully presented.

The store is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s also a great place to discover new products, seasonal treats, and international items you won’t find anywhere else in town.

Overall, 99 Ranch Market in Sugar Land is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality ingredients, cultural flavors, and amazing food variety all under one roof. Highly recommended for families, home cooks, and food...

Customer service at the Sugar Land store has not improved over the years. Obviously, management staff has not changed at all.

Around 1:40 on Monday, February 7, 2022, I was checking out at the register closest to the Express Checkout line. It was a small purchase so I was not going to bother with ringing up my rewards account. The short-hair cashier waited until she was finished with scanning my items before asking if I had a rewards card. Since she asked for my phone number, so I gave it to her. But then she lectured me about showing my rewards card BEFORE ringing up the purchase.

After I inserted my credit card in the card reader for payment, the screen readout said to "Please remove your card." So I pulled out my card thinking the transaction was complete. However, the cashier then asked for my credit card. I asked her why and told her what the screen was showing me. Then the cashier, without explaining anything, rudely grabbed my credit card out of my hand and slammed it over the card reader. After the transaction finally went through, the cashier impolitely handed me my card and the receipt while scolding at me.

The cashier was simply impatient and impolite. I hope senior management realizes courtesy toward customers is essential to basic customer service. That cashier seriously lacked training in...

Be Aware!!! A woman posted on NextDoor she was at 99 Ranch and an hispanic employee, large, maybe 5'11"- 6', baseball cap and white apron, was walking the aisles. I asked about a product and he helped me. As I turned the corner, he was on the next aisle too. He smiled and approached me, wanted to see my tattoos. He had tattoos on both arms, almost all covered. He came in for a one arm hug and I just kind of froze. Then he moaned and said "oooh baby". He kept pointing down and when I looked to see what he was pointing at, there was a huge bulge in his pants!!!! I took my cart and sped away. There was an old man on the aisle reading ingredients. The big guy had no shame!!! I reported, as best I could, to the front manager. Ladies, please be cautious. Be Aware!!! 99 Ranch Market is one of my go-to when I'm buying fresh produce. It's shelfs are always organized based on the Isle information. The employees are friendly and patient with you. Don't hesitant to ask someone for help, whether it's the produce stock personal or the ones stocking the shelfs. I actually want to thank the lady who helped my mother. So one day my mother had a lot of things in her mind. She paid for her produce and supplies, but she was about to walk out the store. A kind employee (Whom ever you are THANK YOU!) was running to my mother with her groceries. Her response "Gosh, I forgot to grab my grocery until this young lady ran up to me with my groceries." She told me in the car, because I always drive her since we live nearby. I want to thank 99 Ranch Market for having such exceptional employees who cares about their customers. Thank you so much for helping my mother. As she's getting old and having memory problems -Knocking on wood-

99 Ranch is an Asian grocery store with lots of tempting finds. It was closed for a while, but since reopening, it's become much more organized and noticeably cleaner. I especially like the sliced meats here—they offer fresh, non-frozen options, which is perfect if you're planning to make shabu or pho with quality beef. They also have a great variety of ice cream in flavors Asian customers love. The produce section is neat, and you’ll find a wide range of condiments and cooking essentials. Prices are comparable to other Asian grocery stores. What really stands out is the store layout—it’s well thought out and makes shopping easy and pleasant.
