My family and I Love chuys, and it pains me to have to write this but yesterday when we visited we noticed that the hostess (I didn’t get his name, but he had some what long curly hair) seemed pretty annoyed that we showed up to the establishment. There was a lot of confusion as to who was going to be seated where but that wasn’t a big problem as that happens sometimes at a restaurant. When the hostess finally walked us to our table he was kind of rude as if we were bothering him and didn’t even wait til my family and I were seated to tell us our waiters name, bring us chips/salsa or anything like that. Before my kids and I even got to the table the hostess was already walking back to the hostess stand. Our waiter was fine, I realized he was really the only waiter helping our dining area so I can’t be mad at him for the wait on anything but when it came to my “bigger than your face burrito” it was pretty underwhelming. I was expecting it to be bigger than my face but it was only big in length. I ordered the burrito with fajita steak, but the entire burrito was stuffed with beans, a tiny amount of cheese and even less fajita beef. If I wanted a bean burrito I would have ordered the bean and cheese burrito.. every bite I took was full of bean and nothing else, and honestly it was a little gross. Service was already taking too long, and our waiter never came back to check on our food due to him being busy with a huge party next to us so I didn’t/couldn’t tell him about my dissatisfaction. I don’t know if chuys is trying to cut corners and save money or what, but this was not the quality I’ve become accustomed to at this restaurant. Hopefully it was just an off day, but at this point we are turned off from this location for the time being. I did feel bad for the manager, he seemed like he was really trying to get it together for the staff that was lacking, he kept his cool and was kind. I know times are hard right now so I don’t want to complain too much. Hopefully when we decide to return things will be back to what we are used to, including a burrito that is actually stuffed with more than just beans Pictured is my leftovers. As you can see it’s all beans no need at all.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Veggie Enchiladas at a Chuy's, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with this dish. The enchiladas were packed with a delicious blend of fresh veggies, including bell peppers, onions, and zucchini, which provided a satisfying crunch and sweetness. The tortillas were soft and wrapped around the veggies perfectly, with just the right amount of melted cheese on top. The dish was served with a side of Mexican rice and refried beans, which added to the overall flavor profile and texture of the dish. The sauce that was poured over the enchiladas was tangy and flavorful, without being too spicy. Overall, this dish was a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and aromas, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying vegetarian meal at a Mexican restaurant. The customer service at this Mexican restaurant was top-notch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess, who promptly showed us to our table. Our server was attentive. He also checked in with us regularly to ensure that we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. The restaurant had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and satisfied. The attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for excellent food and exceptional service.

My fam. & I are regulars at this restaurant. We have visited weekly for several years and know the staff by name. This past Sunday (Sept 10) I drove into the parking lot and there weren’t parking spaces available, except for the “to go” area, which was totally empty. I proceed it to park park there. After ordering and while enjoying dinner with my family, I noticed a young lady approaching every table asking if they owned a gold Mercedes Automobile. When she approached my table I said yes, thinking that something had happened to my car. She apologized and asked my if I could move my car from the to go area. Her manager MIKE MORALES was making the request. I agreed to move my car, thinking that the to-go area was saturated. Nonetheless, when I walked out, my car was the only one there. The entire to-go area was empty just like when I came in (see picture). When I inquired from the manager (MIKE MORALES) as to why it was such an issue, he responded: “WE ARE EXPECTING ALOT OF HANDICAPPED PEOPLE TO COME IN FOR PICK-UPS”. In the mean time, his personal pickup truck was parked in front of the NO PARKING section of the trash dumpster. His cocky attitude and lack of common sense leaves a lot to be desired in a manager. On top of that, someone ought to tell him how to wear a cap….the long pointy side goes in the front. Not planning on going back ….. I will miss all those friendships established over the years.

First let me preface by saying I used to be a huge fan. But in the past few years their food has gone down hill. The service was great. We had a very attentive server. We went in with a party of 9. We all ordered our food and got our drinks in a good amount of time. But when the food was delivered that is when everything went down hill. My mother-in-law ordered the chicken quesadillas. When she received them they looked great! Good presentation and serving size, but inside the filling was not just meat and cheese. There was some type of jalepeno compote. There was no mention of the extra jalepeno flavor on the menu. So the food was too spicy for her to eat. Yes of course at a Mexican restaurant one should expect spice, but lets put it on the menu people! When I got my food I was immediately dissapointed. The bowl of tortilla soup was huge! The contents however were lacking. It was mostly broth with a very little amount of chicken. In the past when you ordered tortilla soup from them it came loaded with chicken and vegetables and little tortilla strips along with cut avocado and Monterey jack cheese. Not this time. The soup was luke warm and It had very little chicken. It also looked to be like someone dumped 1 tablespoon of diced tomatoes and some cilantro as filler. As a cook I would call this someone skimming from the top. The final straw for me was the side salad. I ordered just a plain side salad to go with my soup. The salad itself was just your basic lettuce and tomatos. Nothing fancy. It was just like I ordered. With the exception of the piece of plastic that was in the salad. It looked like someone had tried to open the container the lettuce was in and accidentally got some in the salad. Overall the service was top notch. Our server was gracious and even removed the cost of the salad from the ticket. But the quality of food left alot to be desired. Sorry to say that we will...

This place deserves zero stars after the sad and pathetic treatment I just had at this place, which involves a SPIDER! First we get seated, and then after more than 5 minutes of no one talking to us, I ask the hostess if we could get a server. We get one promptly, and order our meal, after such a long wait we already knew what we wanted. I order the chicka-chicka-boom-boom, which was delicious. Great flavor, and over all very much enjoying the meal. Then when I'm about to start on the second enchilada, a little spider decides to land in the middle of my enchilada. Thank goodness my female friend doesn't freak out, and I promptly grab my plate and take it to the hostess stand, because no server was in view. I drop out off and tell them a spider feel into my food, not loud to disturb the other customers, but trying to cut them some slack. The server later comes back and basically says that sucks, I would hate if that happened to me. Did not apologize, for the freaking spider landing in my food, nor tried to figure out where it cane from or get us a different both to sit in. Of course I declined another plate, appetite kinda gone after that. They brought us a bill, no apologizes or manger to talk to me. You would think a spider landing in your food would merit a visit from the manager, he was to busy I guess, so I walk to the body stand and ask where is the manager, she was like he didn't go visit you yet. He must have been occupied by other spiders to come speak to me. If there is one tiny spider, there are hundreds, because they lay hundreds of...
