Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Sugar Land

It is HARD to even find a decent sandwich these days, but these guys blew it outta the park! The bread was fresh & delicious (unlike many chain sandwich shops that brag about how they make their own bread daily, yet their bread SUCKS!) They put exactly what I asked for on the sandwich (a seemingly unattainable goal everywhere else, despite the fact that I only order 3 ingredients on my sandwiches) & everything was just pleasantly fresh & delicious. Even the soft drinks were really good (so many restaurants fail to clean &/or maintain their fountain drink machines properly, & boy can I taste the difference!) These are qualities that are very hard to find at other sandwich shops...I totally gave up on those places...I refuse to even step foot in a sandwich shop where I pay $7-$10 for a sandwich that tastes like it was...

My son and I walked into this location at approximately 4:30 today. The business itself appeared clean and organized. We approach the counter to place out order. At the time, there was a young lady scraping the flat grill continuously even though it looked clean. There was another heavy set guy working, too, although it didn't appear he was doing too much of anything. My son and I stood at the counter for a few minutes without being acknowledged once. Eventually, my son and I discussed leaving due to staff ignoring us, not even so much as a hello, we'll be right with you... nothing. We were the only 2 customers in the restaurant. Eventually, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. This is the first, and most definitely the last, time we will visit...

Pictured here is the buffalo chicken cheesesteak number 44 on the menu. I am somewhat disappointed because the sandwich is a complete mess because the sauce was over at it and it made the bread soggy. The sandwich was good but I would not recommended or order it again. On a positive note, the Philly cheesesteak I totally recommend that is not a messy sandwich. It was tasty and cook just right, no sogginess about it whatsoever that the onions and peppers and everything about it blended together oh so well. I highly recommend the sandwiches next time I come this is my go-to sandwich. Take a look at the photos. Hope this helps you out with determining on what to order in the future.
