Impressive Variety and Family-Friendly Vibe
A few friends recommended this spot, so we decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did. The menu is impressively diverse, offering American, Asian, Cajun, and gluten-free options, along with a separate lunch menu and a solid dessert lineup. It’s a great place if you’re dining with a group that likes a lot of variety.
The restaurant has a clean, open layout with a large patio area—great for bigger parties or catching a breeze on nice days. It does get a little loud due to the openness of the space, but the atmosphere is casual and welcoming.
We started with the complimentary Parmesan chips, which were a thoughtful touch (though not quite our taste), and we appreciated receiving a free appetizer as first-time guests. The Kobe Korean bowl stood out—the egg was perfectly cooked, the sauce was balanced, and the rice was spot on. Great portion size for a lunch item. The brownie with ice cream and s’mores topping was rich and delicious—definitely a must-try.
The pizza sticks were decent, and the kids’ menu was surprisingly impressive—not only in variety but also in design. It came in full color with games and activities to keep little ones occupied while waiting.
We were interested in the deviled eggs, but unfortunately, they only offer them fried—no alternative available. Still, the menu is big enough that we’ll be back to try more.
A unique touch: they offer frozen meals to-go for $11, which could be a convenient option on busy nights. There’s also a good range of both cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
Final thoughts: Friendly service, broad menu, and some thoughtful extras. We’d definitely return—either for a casual lunch or a night out...
Read moreMy church family had a Fellowship of Love outing today after service, and we chose Lazy Dog as our first restaurant together. What a wonderful experience! The manager was kind and accommodating from the start. My husband, son, and I arrived early and were greeted by a great server (a tall gentleman with a beard) who was patient with me as I was indecisive and continued to check on us. Later, when I joined my aunt and cousins, we were served by Tyler with support from Addyson. Both were attentive, personable, and truly cared about making sure we enjoyed our time.
For entrées, I had the half walnut chicken salad sandwich with a wedge salad. The wedge was traditional and tasty (just needed a bit more blue cheese), while the walnut chicken salad was fresh and flavorful, though the celery was a little strong. My husband ordered the chicken wok dish with broccoli, rice, and he couldn’t stop raving about how amazing it was. Those who ordered the burger shared that it cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very juicy, flavorful, and one of the best. The fries were average. The spicy tuna crispy rice was another standout favorite; I was told it was fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were also a hit, beautifully prepared with lemon, garlic, butter, capers, crispy croutons, and romano cheese. The Thai chicken salad and Thai noodles with shrimp were not a favorite, but the quality of everything else more than made up for it.
We decided to indulged in the butter cake, which was served warm, rich, and looked absolutely delicious.
From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere made this an outstanding dining experience. We’ll definitely be back. If you decide to visit...
Read moreI really like this place until 2 days ago. The experience I had was not accommodating at all. It's like the employees not only act like they really don’t care, they show they don’t. Even the manager on duty.
My friend and myself initially came for the brunch margaritas. During brunch they sell the margaritas in a pitcher. They just changed their seasonal margarita to the watermelon margarita. Unfortunately, I cannot have watermelon so I asked if they could take out the "fresh watermelon". I was told it's "pre-made" in batches, so the watermelon isn't even fresh (false advertisement). Anyways, they "couldn't" do any substitutes or just make one pitcher and charge us.
I had a free appetizer and wanted to use it. The waiter asked me for the code and took it down when ordering. But somehow when splitting the checks, it didn't show up on my check but my friend’s check, when I'm the one that ordered.
The manager was intentionally avoiding us when they weren't busy. She would make eye contact with our table and then continued to walk by. When she finally came by our table to talk to us, we were done eating and about to leave. She asked us how everything was. I mentioned the margarita situation and how there's no substitutions for people who still want to enjoy but cannot because of allergies and I mentioned to her how my friend's food was partially cold. She seemed very careless when we expressed these matters to her. She even shrugged her shoulders multiple times. Which was not professional at all.
I really liked this new place in the area but unfortunately they will not be seeing me for a...
