Great new tea shop located in the Richmond area. This place has a nice modern vibe with cute decor for those selfie pics or just to sit and chill with friends. They offer a great selection of drinks on their menu from milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, frappes, coffee, as well as acai bowls. We tried the lychee green tea and jasmine milk tea with both adjusted sugar levels, and loved it! They're running a current promo for B2G1 free drink, and we chose the "vampire kiss" which was basically a green tea frappe with strawberry...surely a nice solid frappe. So glad to have another great boba spot in the area with friendly service and delicious drinks! Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.

We went to the store today to buy drinks. My 3 year old child sat on one of the dark green chairs with the lower back cut out and the chair fell backwards when he simply started to lean his back on the backrest. He hit the back/side of his head on the concrete floor and was crying. We had to take him outside of the store to not disturb other people. No employee even came to check on us or see how he was. The chair has a narrow base and the legs aren't very wide front to back, so when a child like him sits and leans on the backrest, the chair would flip back. It is dangerous and more kids may get hurt and potential for very serious injuries with the bare concrete floor. He got a bump on his head now.

This is a beautifully decorated boba store. Nice ambience and inviting. Staff were pleasant and friendly. I had the durian avocado smashed, and the lychee cheeze breeze. I love both drinks. The durian avocado smashed though served only in a small cup, it was packed with yumminess. I never thought durian and avocado would work together, and it did! There were durian bits and avocado pieces in the drink. They also added half of an avocado fruit into the drink. So delicious and filling. The lychee cheeze breeze was also very good. The lychee was prominent in the drink. I asked for 50% sugar but 25% would be enough. Would go back for more boba tea.

I’m not going to lie. When I first heard that they were building a new boba place in the area, I thought it was going to be as bland as the other two boba shops in the area. To my surprise, Tea-Amo was actually really good. I first started off with getting the taro brûlée latte, and it’s honestly the best taro drink that I have ever had. Not only are their drinks good, but I love the staff. They always greet you when you walk in, and I have never encountered them being rude. If you carry the addiction gene, then I recommend that you be careful in this place. I have have probably spent hundreds on their boba. If Tea-Amo has 1 million customers, I am one of them. If Tea-Amo has 100 customers, I am one of them. If Tea-Amo has one customer, I am that one customer. If Tea-Amo has no customers, then I am six feet under. I love the location because it’s the only good boba in the area. I no longer have to go all the way to Katy Asia Town or Bellaire just to get good boba. I thank the Lord everyday for building it so close to my house. Instead of me indulging in alcohol or drugs, I indulge in Tea-Amo. Thank you for feeding my gluttony, and keeping me off...

Te Amo is the best name for the establishment! The owner, YES I said the owner treats everyone one with care and compassion. From the moment you walk in, all of her employees are smiling/greeting you

They go over the menu and answers all the questions. You never feel rushed.

I've tried the Cha Mango, Green Matcha with brown sugar and a refresher and I will say beware, it's addicting! You can change the level of sweetness to your liking and add all these cool toppings. (I stick to boba)

And they are on a point systems, so you gain points every time you purchase which includes free toppings up to a free drink.

Also, if you're okay with music in the background, its a perfect place to study (they close late) and also a place for family and friends to come hang out and play games.

I'm just in awe of their customer service!

Bonus They are...

I had to come rewrite my initial review (and put this fake 5-star rating) because my other one star review is nowhere to be found allegedly. So, my family member and I came in to purchase some items and no one greeted us or had any smiling faces even after the entire staff looked up to see who walked in. Fast forward 5 minutes later, a group of four 30 something year old Caucasians walked in and the entire staff looked up and greeted them. One of the customers waiting for his order (an older Caucasian male) looked at me and my family member and made a face of disbelief to signal that he just witnessed this bias show of customer service. Needless to say, I’m not patronizing this establishment ever again. Treat ALL your customers with the...
