We have been going to this place for a few months and it has consistently been good. Everything we have ordered has been good, there isn't anything that we didn't like. The soup dumplings have a thin skin, soup inside, and flavorful meat. The chive pockets have a thin, crunchy crust with perfectly seasoned chives and eggs inside. The pan fried dumplings and buns also have thin skins with perfectly seasoned meat. I'm a pescatarian, so I order the spicy sour fish soup, the tofu and peanut appetizer, the cucumber appetizer, chive pockets, scallion pancakes, and taro balls. (I would be so excited if they made a vegetarian dumpling.) I do not know how they make everything so well because usually, restaurants will have a few things on the menu they do well and everything else is mediocre.
The service is good, food comes out quickly, and there's never a fight for seating. I'm really surprised they don't have more business. To me, the food is better than all the other dumpling places in Sugar Land.
If you like well-made dumplings, buns and noodles, go here. If you like thick, doughy dumplings,...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were so pleasantly surprised! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. We ordered the chili oil noodles, pan-fried buns, pan-fried potstickers (both beef and pork/cabbage), chicken cutlet rice plate, beef noodle soup, onion pancakes, and pickled cabbage noodle soup.
My favorite was the chili oil noodles—just the right amount of heat and bursting with flavor. The potstickers and buns were incredibly juicy, so be careful when you take that first bite! The kids especially loved the crispy bottoms on both the potstickers and buns. I also appreciated that the side dish on the rice plate wasn’t just frozen vegetables—it was fresh, well seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared.
The owner and her daughter were so kind and welcoming. I can’t wait to return to try more dishes and continue supporting this wonderful, family-owned...
Read moreWe had the pan fried soup pork buns 5/5 xiao long bao 5/5 Steamed dumplings 3/5 but I’m not a dumpling person…
This place’s pork filling taste better than many places I been to. It’s better than dumpling world. The pan fried soup pork dumplings and pork xiao long bao is better than dumpling world’s and I can say best in houston :). Ok, maybe the chicken flavored one from wannabao might be better but this place is surprisingly good!! The ladies kind of had bad attitudes but their dough products are very legit. Chewy not washed up soggy like sandong restaurant’s.
We would definitely be visiting more. The prices are just higher than dumpling world and located further away from the fwy(so further for us).
I like it, just feel like the price is high for the...
