Laserzone — Attraction in Sugar Land

Listen, I’ll give you the good and the bad bc there are both. We had a party for a football team and 8 kids age 10-13 attended. First off, it’s relatively cheap compared other places and they allow you to bring your own food in, so points there. Our party room had 4 picnic tables and was a decent size. The picnic tables were not in good condition and rocked back and forth (one even tilted with one side coming up) when people got up or sat down. Although they did clean our party room, there were fruit flies all over the room, possibly from the drains in the bathroom, which were right outside the party room door. The bathrooms were disgusting. When you have 10-12 year old boys coming out complaining about the smell and cleanliness you KNOW it’s bad. You could smell the bathrooms just outside the door but thankfully not in our party room. Judging from previous reviews this is not a reflection on the staff on duty at the time but rather an ongoing janitorial issue. The place as a whole was very dirty, but I chalk that up to the fact that it was very busy in the common area and not that many employees working. The employee that seemed to be in charge and helping us was as sweet and as helpful as he could be (young, white, short kinda curly hair) so kudos to him. Some of the arcade type games were not working. The biggest points come from the lasertag and lazermaze. All of the kids from our party had a lot of fun. The games are 20 minutes long, multi levels, and they came out sweaty and laughing. They loved all of the laser activities. Would I book a party again there? Probably not. Would I bring my kiddo and a few friends for a few cheap games of lasertag? Probably. Just come equipped with some hand...

I had my son and daughters birthday party here on 9/23 and I was left speechless at the behavior from the owner, Patricia or Pat (she believes putting her hands on someone elses child is justifiable). We showed up on time for our party, but had to wait for our room which was fine as it was clear how busy it was, but there was confusion as another party was put in there when they were supposed to be placed somewhere else. Once that was settled we setup and the first game was announced and our groups made their way in. As I was putting the vests on our kids, Patricia comes in yelling at the attendant because my child asked about the gun and how to use it and she took it upon herself to shake the gun out of her hand and yell at her. I had to yell at her to get her hands off of her and to never touch her again. She came to apologize attempting to excuse her actions because they were busy, but to find out she was the owner and she laid her hands on a child and yelled at them because they were asking ME how to use the gun was beyond wrong, unprofessional and she should not be allowed anywhere near children if she can't handle her own emotions with her job. I can not put into words how infuriated I am and we will never be back to this location so long as Patricia is there, my children's safety is my top priority and I am so thankful I was there to stop her.

update There was no misunderstanding as I know what I saw and heard. I'm glad another group had a better experience than ours, and it's that more upsetting that one of our kids was treated the way she was. It was a question asked of me and it to be interfered the way it was can...

Kids had fun but I’m not happy.

1st. The price for a party includes unlimited laser tag and maze but there seemed to be only 1 person working so they didn’t get to play as much as we would’ve hopped.

2nd the maze was so easy my children finished within seconds. When they tried to go back the attendant told them they couldn’t because our party was over.

Mind you we got there at 5:05 but no one came to the room to explain how the party works and we didn’t get wrist bands until 5:45.

3rd the bathroom was a mess. It was so nasty. Poop and pee just sitting in the toilets. No paper towels, old and in horrible need of replacement.

4th the laser tag vest and gun was sooooo sticky and gross like they never clean them.

5th the party room was small and outdated and not well kept. The trash can had no bag. There was a broom sitting in there. The tables were wobbly and old and not clean.

And to top it all off the one person working there. A young teen with braces and blonde hair was rude. She rolled her eyes when she brought me an off brand water and I asked her for Ozarka that she was clearly selling to other guests. When I asked her about the my children not being able to go on the maze she basically said she couldn’t do anything and would look into it later with an attitude and eye roll. She was no help during the party.

Also on the website it says 3hr party large but in smaller print 2hr 45mins. Just keep that in mind.

We will stick to Main Event for laser tag in the future. I will never go to...
