The customer service at T&T Nail Salon and Spa from management to most of the staff is excellent. They are super welcoming and the environment is calming. You are offered a drink as soon as you are seated, and they sanitize your spot in front of you. The prices are reasonable, as well. About $75 for a fill with chrome. $80ish with chrome and a design. Pretty standard pricing.

But I will not be returning. I have reveived four sets from this salon. The first set I received was from Amber, and it was fine. I requested a simple design, and she delivered. Prep work before application was decent as well.

My last three sets were done by Jimmy. Two of the three were okay, for the most part. Prep work, overall, could be better. None of my nails popped off though, so I guess it didn't really matter at the end.

But my third and final set with Jimmy was a bit of a disaster. The design wasn't exactly what I wanted (blue/silver cat eye), but I'm used to not getting exactly what I request at most salons. (Due to this, if I have time, I do my own acrylic sets. )

The biggest gripe that I have is with the finished product of my last set. Like I mentioned, I am a nail girly. I don't use my nails as tools, and I'm not rough with my hands. I know how to take care of my nails. I also know that gel polish on acrylic nails should not be flaking off if applied and cured correctly. It's supposed to last until your next set, which has been my experience.

The gel polish and cat eye polish on my nails were flaking off within HOURS of getting it done. Pretty substantial pieces were missing. I went back the next day, and they were quick to fix them, with no hesitation for free. Super nice about it. But by the NEXT morning, they were flaking off again. Multiple fingers. I feel that it may have needed a base coat for the gel polish or maybe my nails were too smooth for the product to adhere to. Or perhaps there was a defect with the black gel polish or the cat eye polish. I don't know. Something wasn't curing properly.

On top of that, my nails were lumpy in some spots, and on CLOSER inspection, the sidewalls on my thumb and forefinger was missing acrylic.

By the 4th day of my final set, the polish on my thumb had come off the entire nail and most of my nails were looking pretty bad due to the flaking polish. I feel like after $80 + and tip, that I wasted my money, because I had to pay someone else to fix them, as I didn't have time to do it myself.

My advice is that if you go to this salon, just be mindful of the nail tech that they assign you to. I have seen some women and girls leave this salon with beautiful work, so I know that they can do some...

Service was good but prices were higher than expected. Be careful they increased my bill by $40 as gave me two different polishes that I did not ask for. I asked for SNS dip I close my eyes to relax and instead of completing the dip process she tech with the extra long nails begins to paint my nails with what I now know is “Shellac”. I asked for the color of the polish not actual polish. When she verified my total of $69 I was half asleep. Yes I said that’s fine as I asked for dip $32 over my origin nail and a pedicure… in my mind the price was $37 for pedicure and $32 on the menu. Needless to say I get to the counter after a rather relaxing foot massage.. I’d had a stressful day; the cashier says $114 dollars I nearly lost it. I explained what I asked for compared to what I received and they all looked confused. I never asked for Shellac I was 100% clear I wanted my nails dipped - she started with dip and I literally fell asleep and woke up with an additional $40 worth of services!

This is NOT ok; I will never return.

After a few days I am updating this review The Shellac chipped and the paint on my nails and feet are two different colors. This is what I get when I made the mistake of stopping here. It’s unfortunate I’ve literally never experienced anything like this in a salon. After a few days my buyers remorse really set in. My nails were not shaped or painted property it’s lumpy inconsistency in shaping and it looks like I polished it myself. The cashier (who is perhaps the owner) is a smooth talker and has a hilarious and welcoming personality but pay attention and don’t get caught slipping like I did! I was stoked but it’s up the street from where I my sister locs done - but again trust my tip.. as a fellow small business owner and entrepreneur it’s painful for me to write the review but I want to save some else if I can by leaving a truthful and candid review

Again personalities are on point; but I’m in sales too - integrity and honesty is key!

On the 24th I went in for the first time and got a simple almond shaped black tip for $65 paid $75 after tip- 2 days later the black started to peel off which I get this same style often and never has this happened before. I was going to just deal with it until 4 days in two of my nails started falling off which if you know usually nails last 2-3weeks, at least for me. So on the 30th I called and was given a lot of attitude but was told to come in whenever I got off work. When I got there the woman that did my nails completely tried to gaslight me- first saying it was a man that did my nails because it’s just her and a dude that does the nails and apparently “ she didn’t do it this style” like I don’t know the difference between her and a man. Either way I was like ok whatever- then she proceeds to tell me even after I showed her my receipt stating I paid on the 24th that “I need refill because it’s been longer than a week” and was even like “see, the 24th longer than a week” to which I said “it’s the 30th that’s 6 days” but whatever she agrees to fix them for free, cool. Whole time she stating that at any nail salon the black color doesn’t fully dry even though I constantly get these same nails just from different places but again I just let it slide- we get done and all is well I was thankful for that but yet again two days later they start peeling and like melting(?)and it’s even worse then it was before she fixed them. Now only 5 days later the same nails she just fixed are also falling off. Not sure what cheap products they are working with but never had this happen nails usually last me almost a full 4 weeks and never have had my nail color peeled before. My main problem was the initial rudeness and gaslighting that was given to me. I’m not going here again,...
