I ordered a small chicken pho on DoorDash. One of the first times in multiple years the chicken was actually tender and edible, however, I have an ordered in a few months and today was my last time. It has gone downhill so much all these years of having different owners. I barely got any noodles when I remember that the difference between a small and large is usually the broth not the noodles so they have cut back with inflation. I have never been served lemon with Pho. It's not even appetizing to me, usually it's lime. there was barely any garnish in the box or the bag, but I did get was just cilantro stems and honestly, I wouldn't even be complaining if it tasted good, but the broth was terrible. It doesn't even taste like Pho. Extremely greasy and had a weird sour taste. It's inedible. I was also emailed that there was $1.23 up charge for some thing that I had requested. I guess it saved from the last time I ordered and I didn't realize but I have never paid for a side of fish sauce at a pho place ever, so to charge over a dollar when the container of it was spilling out and not even full and not how their fish sauce usually appears in color either just like the broth that seemed off today … Not worth it at all and DoorDash wouldn't give me a refund, but gave me a $7 credit. and it's not worth going to...

This is solely based on the service I received, the food however is decent there. I used to come here as a kid whenever I lived in the area years ago but now since I work here in the area, I definitely wanted to come back and enjoy this place again. I was greeted several times upon the men that worked there and noticed they were checking me out and then presumed to talk to me in a way that seemed too “friendly” and uncomfortable for my liking. I brushed it off the last visit I had but after today, I won’t be returning ever again. Whenever I was being walked to the table by the older gentleman (mind you I’ve only spoken to him maybe twice) he proceeds to ask me about my 4th of July holiday. What may of seemed to be an innocent conversation, he then proceeded to tell me that he spent it “on his patio watching his next door neighbors doing it.” I was very stunned to even hear something come out from someone, a COMPLETE STRANGER- at that, whenever I just wanted to enjoy my lunch. It was highly inappropriate and don’t understand how someone felt compelled enough to share something like that to a paying customer. Very disappointing, disgusting and...

I was perplexed to find that this restaurant received a rating of 4.2 out of 5.0 based on my recent experience. Arriving around 1:45 pm, I was taken aback to find the restaurant completely empty. I couldn't help but wonder about the freshness of the food and whether I should proceed with ordering.

Unfortunately, my instincts proved to be correct, and I should have walked out. The pre-packaged bags containing bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeños were visibly ruined, as evidenced by the attached photos. Additionally, the grilled chicken seemed days old and was incredibly tough—I struggled to even cut it with scissors. Certain parts of the chicken were alarmingly hard, indicating overcooking and potential reheating in the microwave.

To add to the disappointment, the pho broth was overly salty and didn't align with my preferences for a flavorful broth.

Overall, my dining experience was far from satisfactory. The lack of freshness in ingredients, coupled with poorly executed cooking methods, left much to be desired. I cannot reconcile the high rating this restaurant has received based on...

This place is a hidden gem. I had gone to Saigon Pho about three years ago and it was a drab, sad looking restaurant. I didn't return until recently. They are under new management and remodeled. The place looks fresh and inviting with numerous giant screen TVs. Food: I had their charbroiled pork chop rice dish. The wife had the shaken beef with rice and my son also had the pork chop with rice. This is the best Vietnamese food in Sugar Land and is up there for the top Viet restaurant restaurant in the Houston area. They don't advertise so they weren't too busy. I hope that they stay around so that I can enjoy their food for years to come. Service: It is a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Service was good when I was there. Just be realistic about where you're at and you'll be happy with the service. You're not a 5-star Michelin restaurant and you're not paying $$$$ so don't expect 5 star service.

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating the food however.. After watching the episode of DDD I was super excited to visit this establishment, however I was disappointed yet again with the food. The spring roll which they call summer rolls were amazing for sure, but everything else not so much. The chicken was drier than a than a thanksgiving turkey cooked to long in the oven. The best part of my plate was the fried egg and the rice. My wife's sesame chicken was just ok and the fried rice on her plate was less than desired. Come on Guy Fiere if you are going to be acting up a storm at least warn people you are being paid like a member of congress to lie to the public and hide the facts set in front of you. One visit is all you need here because the parking is gonna make you never want to return right off the start.
