I don’t think there’s anything from Mom’s Kunafa that isn’t amazingggg. I finally got my hands on some of Mom’s made in house Chocolate Knafeh. All I can say is mmmmm. First of all, it is totally visually stunning. Dusted on top with golden contrast, the first bite is something that is difficult to describe. It’s a very satisfying texture with the Philo crispiness contrasting nicely with the gooey, molten chocolate that envelops the layers. The original kunafa is authentic and cheesy, some places use a sweet cream for a creamer consistency, so manage your expectations based on preference/style.
