I've gone to this Fazolis on the seldom occasion since I was a child. At one point in my teenage years had a bf employed here. With that said, I don't know what or why, or maybe it's simply me and my taste buds changing with age but I feel like it use to be better. However, those breadsticks still DELICIOUS! 🤤 Additionally, not that I often choose inside dining when eating here but noticed the difference in service between the last time I did compared to visits when I was younger have substantially changed. I'm not oblivious though, the world in general has changed quite significantly and sometimes friendliness of others in general seems to be rare. Sadly it seems we've become complacent in living a life where we share space with others but keep to ourselves majority of the time. But anyway, years ago when dining inside this place would be popin with other families from the area, the waitress...or maybe she was more so a bread lady shoot idk I just know she carried that basket of heavenly hot breadsticks and made her way around from table to table armed with tongs and a smile offering as many sticks as your heart may desire. And the chatter amongst friends, family, neighbors, and customer- employee seemed consistent and friendly throughout your meal. Although not recent, but the last few times I did dine inside there was no friendly bread lady, no friendly anybody really just teenagers that clearly were in survival mode waiting for shift end, and maybe one or two other guests who brave the indoor dining experience. But again life's just different so I will continue my seldom visits to Fazolis whenever I get that itching for a nice warm bag of breadsticks. ..meal wise I used to favor their lasagna then switched to baked marinara ziti. Next time I'll try the lasagna again and update yall with my thoughts if you care to read them. ♡ .....ps: talk to someone new today, let's all be...
Read moreMy family (myself, my adult daughter, and our two boys both under 3) arrived at the Wilmington Pike location at 7:55pm. There was already someone at the register being waited on and a couple in front of us. Both people's orders were taken and they took a seat in the dining room. When we stepped forward to place our order, we were told by a young red haired girl, I apologize, I missed her name, that the dining room was now closed. We could order our food to go. I was very upset. I also was a little dumbfounded that this was happening. There was no signage to state they were closing early? And why had she waited on the people in front of us and they could be seated? I asked the girl how long that had been going on? Because they didn’t close at 8 anytime I had been there before. She said she had worked there for 3 months and it was always that way. Unfortunately it turned rather rude. I will admit my patience wore thin not understanding why the door says 10pm but she said 8. All the while, I'm holding my son, and my daughter is holding hers. And we are still hungry! I stormed out the door to take a picture of the actual sign on the door. And walked back in and yelled for the manager. I do apologize for that. When she was able to come to the front of the store, I asked her why this girl told me the dining room was closed at 8pm when it clearly says it's open til 10. The manager tells me “Well we are short staffed” So your employee just blatantly lied to me. I can only assume because she's so young, that she figured she would have to clean up a mess from our kids. That's why she served the people without children instead of us. Kinda prejudice huh? Joke was on her though, I happen to own a food truck. I NEVER turn away a customer. Especially single moms with kids. It's a shame that this major goes on...
Read moreThis place is a nightmare lately. I ordered DoorDash from this Fazoli’s location on January 16 after ensuring the store was still open. I waited over an hour and the order was finally cancelled, at which point, most of my other dinner options were already closed.
The experience after that was very lackluster due to a specific employee. I asked a couple questions when placing my order and she didn’t give me a straight answer on either of them, making it seem like I was wasting her time. Then, she handed me my order without the drink I ordered and quickly closed her window. We sat and waited waving at her to let her know, and when we did get her to open the window again she didn’t say anything when we told her what happened or when she handed us the drink. Despite being the store’s fault that we didn’t get our drink, it felt like we were being blamed and treated poorly because of it. I tried leaving a review after this experience multiple times and could not get the website to work.
Tonight, around 7:30 PM, we attempted to visit this Fazoli’s again. The inside was allegedly open til 9, according to Fazolis website. The drive thru line was out of the parking lot, so we attempted to go inside. All doors were locked, so to the drive thru line we went. I ordered pasta with tomatoes and broccoli. They were out of tomatoes, no big deal, but I paid like 2.50 for the tablespoon of broccoli that was added to my pasta (see photo for reference).
I don’t know what’s going on with this store, but...
