I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sukhothai, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. This charming Thai restaurant not only delighted my taste buds but also offered a serene and relaxing atmosphere that made my evening truly memorable.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exquisite food. I opted for the chicken fried rice with hot Thai spices to add an extra kick, and it was a fantastic choice. This little gem near our home surprised us with its bold flavors and unmatched hospitality. (Pro tip: If you order Thai spicy, be ready for the heat of your life!) This place, close to our home, wasn’t one I was particularly excited about trying at first. It just didn’t seem like it would appeal to me, but I decided to give it a chance. The ambiance was average, nothing extraordinary to mention. However, the food turned out to be quite good overall.

I did make the mistake of ordering Thai spicy, which ended up being the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten in my life—it was intense! While gasping for air but still delighted by the taste, the exceptional service stood out and truly elevated our experience. Our server, who seemed to be in a position of authority, noticed our struggle and graciously offered to remake the dish with less spice. I politely declined for two reasons: first, they weren’t obligated to do so, and second, it’s a small, mom-and-pop shop, and I wouldn’t feel right asking for something like that. But the gesture itself was incredibly thoughtful and made me feel so cared for—it’s rare to encounter such kindness.

Although we couldn’t finish all the food, we packed up the leftovers to go. Interestingly, we did manage to finish almost all the white rice! Noticing this, the server generously offered to give us extra white rice to take home, free of charge. She even said, “I’ll add more white rice for you,” which really touched me. It was such a kind and generous gesture, especially considering they could have easily charged us $3 or more for the extra rice.

The generosity and warmth of the service left such a lasting impression that I can’t wait to return. I really hope you consider visiting this place. While the food did take longer than expected, it was well worth the wait. Still just a utter delight I absolutely enjoy every second of being in the presence of this family and you will too!! You can not go wrong with anything you choose let the owners know what it is that you like or dislike and she can help push you into a direction that you will be happiest or try them all!! We suggest doing that my boyfriend says Thai tea is the way to go 100%!!! I'm totally not into the bubbles!!! Lol!!! I'm all about those Itty bity tiny skinny rice noodles ohhhh myyy goodness I love those sooo much I love loves love them in every thing!!! Can't forget to ask for the chop sticks!! Hahaha authentic lol!!

The best part is we have not been here in a very long time (that's not the best part that's sad actually very sad cuz we love this place its our spot!! - anyway - she still remembers our names and dishes of what we order even how spicy we like it and the special way I get mine Altured!!! Wow!!! That is amazing!!! I can't even remember what name to yell at my dogs when they get in trouble!!!!

Soo if you want my advice and you want to find some great amazing food with good people in laid-back atmosphere that you can eat in peace and enjoy your day and time without being pushed out when your done like move on out your taking up my day light God!!! Hahaha!!! This is the number 1 recommendation of the years!!!!! For all time!!!!! You really won't find a better winner!!!
