Sunset Donuts — Restaurant in Suisun City

Sunset Donuts has everything you'd want from a donut shop. Every type of donut, plus other types of pastry, breakfast options that are prepared on the same day, and great-tasting coffee. Even though there's a Starbucks next door you're gonna want to take them up on their brew after you smell it in the shop. The owners and workers of the shop are polite, efficient, and attentive. Even though there's usually a line of people waiting when you come inside, it's never stagnant, they keep things moving and make sure they get your order correct before they ring you up. It's a great place to get a sweet treat, a breakfast bagel, a bag, or a box of a dozen. The only complaint I have with the place is the flies that find their way inside the shop. But, that being said, I appreciate the effort the workers make in protecting the product from the insects and I understand that if you sell sugar, you're gonna attract flies, so I don't blame them. I went here today and paid with my card. I walked out and a couple minutes later one of the ladies was knocking on my car window saying their internet messed up so their system didn’t take my payment. I told them it went through and it even asked me if I wanted a receipt (which I had clicked no). They had me check my bank and since it had only been a few minutes the charges weren’t showing. I went back in and paid again and now both charges are showing on my bank statement. I called them and let them know they charged me twice and they hung up on me the first time and the second time I called they said they were too busy with customers to figure it out and I should just drive back to them to get my money when I had already started work for the day. I called because I didn't know there were 2 doors and was confused that the door was locked. The lady was nice and explained that there was a second door. When I walked back into the shop the lady behind the counter was making fun of the "person who just called and didn't know there were two doors when it was obvious" did not purchase anything and left.

3/20 UPDATE: Went in today, had a good experience with the lady behind the counter, informative and friendly. Told me which donuts were better than others. I'm glad I finally gave it...
