The teen workers at the ice cream counter would rather chat and flirt with classmates than help the manager clean/cook, take any customers orders, or help the new hire with all the orders popping up.
My burger wasn't done properly as ordered and I don't know if that's because no one was helping the new hire take my order or just them not doing it properly. I had about 10 inedible fries from them being so old and I mean they were brown and shriveled up like she was breaking down the fry area and a few got tossed into the good fries as she was making my order. Waited 15 minutes for my vanilla shake (who just sits there and watches the new hire struggle and not offer help) and another 3 for my food (which wouldn't have bothered me even if I had had to wait longer since the manager was doing all the cooking and cleaning in the back of house).
You gotta get into the mindset that sometimes people need help even if they haven't asked. A simple "you doin ok need help with anything?" goes a long way girls. I also know I sound like an old man typing that but no I'm in my 30s and worked for braums in college. Stop playing around and focus.
How do you run out of one of the most requested ice cream flavors? When I worked there, albeit not at this location, you spoke up at the 1/2 way mark and double checked at the 3/8 mark that you got the flavors you need pulled to start prepping for replacement, no matter the time of night.
Side note to Braums themselves: Also what is going on with the understaffed stores? This isn't particularly about Sulphur's Braums because we left Ardmore's location since they were so swamped with 3 people working and drove to Sulphur's where only 4 were working but at least for them it was slower. I ordered a number 1 no pickles with American and pepper jack cheese with extra crispy fries. As my family waited for our food we got our drinks. The drink station was dirty I didn’t even get ice because how nasty the ice this looked. Looking behind the counter I should have known better then to get food here store has ice cream on all the stainless looking in to the kitchen you can clearly see the grease buildup on the walls. I finally got my food and of course they forgot one of the cheeses so I went back up there and asked for it to be fixed and instead of them remake my food the took it apart and put the cheese on it so I got one cheese melted and one not melted. So no thank you I will not be coming back to this location what a waste of money. Read more⭐☆☆☆☆ - Extremely disappointing experience I waited in the drive-thru line at the Sulphur Braum’s for over 20 minutes. When I finally got to the speaker, I sat there for another 3 minutes with complete silence—no greeting, no “please wait,” nothing. So I pulled around to the window and calmly asked if I could just place a quick order there (I just wanted a sundae).
The young manager with the green apron and dark, curly hair immediately became hostile—slamming her hands on the window ledge and snapping that I could not order at the window and that I had to go back through the long line again. Her tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and incredibly unprofessional.
I was polite the entire time. There was absolutely no reason for the outburst. Sadly, this isn't the first time I’ve seen this same employee treat customers rudely.
