Overall the experience was poor. This REALLY surprised me, since I've ALWAYS had great experiences at this McDonald's in the past. There wasn't a line in the drive-thru when I got there, and the female order taker working the drive-thru was quick and friendly taking the order. I pulled up to the 1st window to pay for the food, and before she was able to say a single word to me, another employee (not a manager) walked up to where we were and started talking to her...about nothing work-related. It was loud enough for me, and probably everyone in the kitchen, to hear. After a minute or so the other employee walked away. She then said her hellos, verified the order, and collected payment. Before she could give the change and receipt for my order, yet another employee (unsure if it was a manager or not). They were whispering to each other, giggling, and looking to see if any other employees were looking at them. I guess the drive-thru worker told the other employee that I was at the window, because the other employee looked at me and then said "Oh, okay. Whatever!" and walked away. I received my change and she walked away, not saying anything else to me. I told her "Thank you!" but no response. I pulled to the next window. I was handed my drink and was asked to "pull up" to wait for the food (1 large fry, extra ketchup packets and napkins, and a "free" pie that was offered to me by an employee). It took around 5 minutes before someone walked the food to my vehicle. I asked her if the extra napkins and ketchup were in the bag, which she replied ”yes," and then walked back into the restaurant. Needless to say, there were no napkins (not a single one), no ketchup (not a single packet), and no pie (free or otherwise) in my bag. And the fries were lukewarm, at best. You would think the food would be hot and fresh due to the wait, and the fact that they were not busy when I ordered, paid, and "pulled up." But by this time they had a long line forming very quickly. So I cut my losses, ate 2 fries, tossed the rest into the trash because they were not fresh or hot, and I didn't have any of my much beloved ketchup. I drove away, saddened by the fact I didn't get to enjoy my order of McDonald's fries. I'm putting this under "an off moment" for this McDonald's, and will try again soon. I will also update this review if things are back to normal for this particular...
Read moreFirst problem was the speaker in the drive thru wasn’t working properly. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times and raise our voices quite a bit.
Second problem was that the large fries they gave us were only half the portion size for a large. If I wanted a medium fries I would have ordered that. We were splitting 2 large fries between 4 people and needed the large fries to have enough for each person.
Third problem was that they didn’t give us the right amount of drinks we ordered and paid for. We told them that we were supposed to get one more large drink. Instead of making it right there and giving it to us, they told us to pull forward and someone would bring it to us.
Fourth problem was that we waited for like 10-15 minutes for the drink. We had already finished our food. My mother finally went in to find out where her drink was. No one would even talk to her. No one was bringing her drink. Nothing. Finally my mom got someone to give her a cup and she made her own drink.
Fifth problem was they put so much mayo on my mom’s buttermilk chicken sandwich it got all over her fingers. I mean seriously?! That’s just wasteful. I’d only put that much on a sandwich if someone asked for more mayo than sandwich.
This visit was horrible. We will never go back. Now the one on Cities Service Hwy, the one in Westlake, and the one on Ryan St. in LC are all very good McDonalds. The service is better, the quality of their food is better, and the...
Read morePassed thru this city on way home and decided to get breakfast. We went thru drive thru and ordered multiple items including a coffee with sugar and cream on the side. After we paid at first window, we arrived at second window where we were given our bags. Sugar, cream and straws were not in bags even though it is clearly on the receipt so we asked for them and were rudely told we would need to pull up and wait for those items to be brought out. My husband asked “we need to pull up for just that?” And she is responded rudely “just move up”. The time it took for her to tell us that she could have easily given us our stuff. So we pulled up and sat there for 10 mins and nothing. We tried the side door and was locked so we looked up the number and called inside. They hung up on us after we asked the first time. So we called again and they said they would be out shortly. Finally after 15 mins a man brought up our condiments without a apology. All this took over 15 mins when it could have took 15 secs to begin with. I gave 2 stars because the food was still good. I will avoid going here tho cause the staff was so rude and we felt like we were being punished for something they...
