Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Rumbas, a hidden gem in Sulfur that offers a delightful taste of Mexico right in the heart of town. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of spices and the friendly atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
The menu at Rumbas is a treasure trove of Mexican flavors, and I was particularly impressed by their fajitas. Served sizzling hot and bursting with flavor, the fajitas were a true highlight of the meal. The tender meat, perfectly seasoned vegetables, and warm tortillas combined to create a dish that was both satisfying and delicious.
One of the standout features of Rumbas is the bar, where a pretty bartender with red hair skillfully crafted a range of cocktails with flair and expertise. Not only were the drinks expertly made, but the bartender's friendly demeanor and helpful suggestions added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.
Overall, my experience at Rumbas was nothing short of fantastic. The food was top-notch, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. Whether you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a drink, Rumbas is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and sample more of their...
Read moreI just left there. Went for lg chips and salsa. I decided to use the ladies room while I waited. There was 2 young waitresses in there posted up at the sink with thier makeup strung all over. They were talking in Spanish. No problem! I finished and came out and had to ask them if I could get there to wash my hands. The girl was nice and said sure... she moved over and then told the other girl... que fea! Thinking I didn't understand her apparently. So I asked her "who me?" And she looked shocked. She said what? I said are you saying que fea to me?? She said uh no I'm talking about her boyfriend... which is not true because that would have been que feo. She said do u know what thats means ? I said yes i do it means how ugly. She said oh yeah my friend is telli g me a very sad story about her boyfriend thats whybi said that. I disnt say anything to her. I was kind i wasnt rude in asking to wash my hands. I dont know why she would say that. I am very disappointed that this happened. They need to realize that they aren't the only ones that know Spanish. The other girl just kept quiet and looked nervous. They should put makeup on at home. It's a good thing I love this salsa and understand immature Lil girls. But how...
