Cafe de Fleur — Restaurant in Summerville

I found this little coffee shop online, decided to give it a try since I had an appointment in the area. There were 2 employees working. 3 customers total including myself. They had about 4 pastries in the case, stated that they hadn't received their delivery although it was 4 pm in the afternoon. The duo in front of me ordered one of the pastries to share and a couple of coffee drinks. I ordered one of the same pastries and a coffee from the coffee bar. I didn't receive a cup, but I figured they would bring it to me at some point. The duo and I sat down separately and waited for our orders. I had requested my pastry be warmed up also. We sat patiently and waited for our orders to arrive. A few minutes later another woman came in, she apparently knew the employees and they all stopped working and started conversing with the woman. I still had not received my coffee cup, and neither of us had received our food. A few more minutes went by and one of the duo got up and checked on the order. One of the employees apologized that he had forgotten and brought out the pastries to both the duo and myself. Still no coffee cup for me. I brought that to his attention and eventually I got my coffee cup. The employees went back to gabbing with the woman. My pastry was not warmed up also but at that point I wasn't bothering with the employees. All in all, I would not...

First let me start off by saying this place is super cute and the coffee is delicious! I had every intention of making this my new coffee spot. I’m so bummed about the experience I had. I ordered their croissant sandwich and halfway through eating the first half I was trying to figure out what was so chewy and opened up the sandwich and realized the entire inside of the croissant was still raw, stretchy dough. I pointed it out to a staff member. She didn’t discount it or offer to remake it, but gave me a free coffee card for my next visit that I later realized expired the next day. I ended up having food poisoning symptoms the entire night. I messaged them through their site to not even complain, but more so just let the owner know for the safety of others so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. No one ever responded to me. I wanted to come back here but I’m so disappointed by how this situation...

Seemed like a cozy place for pastries and cappuccino well to my surprise place did not have any pastries. I met up with a friend at 10:30 and all they had was some cookies and a few bagels. Kinda disappointed! I asked for a light iced Mocha well they didnt have any light milk either! Sooo got just a regular and it did taste ok but hardly any ice? ( maybe a shortage) and when it was given to me no straw? I had to go search for one. Owner was standing there and I asked her where are the pasties and she looked at me like I was asking for Jupiter! Yes you advertise them where are they? Yes they come up from Saffrons..again where are they? So I have to say this is not on my hot list to run to...
