I really love the layout of the store when you walk in. The layout is more open than other locations I've visited. Was excited to see the markdown price of a couple of items...strawberries 49 cents, cucumbers 35 cents and hot dog buns 33 cents and all were in excellent condition. Aldi always has great non-food items like clothing, accessories, household goods and gardening items. The only reason for 4 stars is because this location had a display of 2 big items at the front of the store and neither had price. Another customer standing there also wanted to know. A store associate happened to be walking by so I asked for a price and she had to go to 3 other people to get one and NONE of them knew. I thought she would've just keyed the item number into the system but maybe she didn't have access to a register. She made an honest effort and was pleasant but while she was making her attempt I walked to the sales flyer and found it myself...meanwhile my family left and went to the car because it was taking longer than it probably should have. I bet if I go back today there still won't be a price posted. Why put items on the sales floor if you're not going to put a price tag on it? It only causes unnecessary...
Read moreMarlene the cashier is RUDE. My sister and I have been three times and all three times she has been our cashier. She forces us to let others ahead before even giving us the chance to offer (I always offer if I have a cart full). That happened the first two times. My sister and I usually share a cart and my daughter is one, so she sits in the top of the cart. Marlene filled the top of the cart at the end of the register with groceries, so I asked her if it would be okay for me to take my original cart with me, so that I wouldn’t have to carry my daughter all the way to my car in the back of the parking lot. She says “ NO!! You cannot!” So, I say okay. As I’m pulling the cart around the corner to her, she places her hand on the buggy, WITH MY DAUGHTER STILL IN and tells me, “NO!! You have to leave it here!!” Which was exactly what I was doing, moving it around the corner of the register to give it to her. I told her that I was in fact giving the cart to her, so then says, “You can take it.” At that point I don’t want the cart, so I leave it with her anyways. She is nothing, but rude and unprofessional. She is the total definition of poor...
Read moreFirst time in here today 7/12/21. Decided to check them out instead of stopping at wally world. I will definitely return. You must have a quarter to get a shopping cart, and bring your own bags or buy on site. Prices are very reasonable and I was actually able to find items without added sugar I can't find at other stores. Meats look good, as well as other items in the cold case area. I was on a slim budget today, but next time I anticipate trying out quite a few items, in addition to purchasing household staples. Oh, I also REALLY like the fact they give their cashiers chairs (and comfortable looking ones) to sit while behind the register. That speaks volumes to me about how much they value their employees. More retail stores should follow...
