It was a nice day so we sat outside. This was our first time here and hearing of this place. Everyone was sitting outside there was maybe one person sitting at the bar? The service was so freaking slow. There were plenty of waitresses sitting inside chatting amongst themselves when I went to find the bathroom- which was hard to find and hidden behind a wall with no signs. We were sitting for a while before someone even took our beverage order. Since we were waiting for well over 15 minutes, we were ready to order food as well, but the waitress scurried away immediately after our wine order before we could even say we're ready to order. This meant we had to wait even longer to eat and we were a bit hungry. Also, it was a Wednesday at 7pm. The food was average. We ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich which was dry and had zero flavor. We also ordered the Wagyu Truffle Burger and was dissapointed. You could taste the truffle which was nice that it had flavor but overall was expecting more with the Wagyu in the title. The sweet potato fries were under cooked. The table next to us had a dog and waitress said no dogs on the "patio" (sidewalk) and then continued to allow the dog to sit on the owner's lap at the table. Just not sure why have rules if the employees don't need to follow them. Wouldn't come back and don't recommend. Also nowhere to park on a Wednesday even circled around three times and had to park in another business's lot.

I did not find this to be a casual or welcoming Brunch spot. Also, my family waited 15 minutes to be greeted by a waitress when we were told that we could be promptly served at a specific time. I spoke to a man at 10am noting that we know the restaurant is not open until 10:30am for Brunch but that we had a kids sporting event to get to and would appreciate having our orders in as soon as possible. He was very confrontational, not at all hospitable, but agreed that we could sit down at 10:20am and have our orders in by 10:30am. So we came back at 10:25am. The man we spoke to saw us but decided to ignore us. I watched as he gave a 13 minute rallying speech to the waitresses; it seemed to me he likes the attention from them. At that point the waitresses we had eye contact with may have been reluctant to serve us, for fear of lower tip or grumpy customers, so we waited an additional 2 minutes. But the positive side is the waitress who was willing to come over was very kind. She did a great job. You can see in our picture that by 10:37am we were still sitting there with no menu’s and nobody having welcomed us. I saw other tables greeted within seconds. But it seems not everyone is welcome here.

The service experience left much to be desired. Regrettably, my server was lacking engagement and attentiveness. When I asked for a drink recommendation, her response lacked enthusiasm and depth, simply stating that it was "good." Moreover, the server's unrestrained long hair raised hygiene concerns. On a positive note, the honey baked brie appetizer was delightful, showcasing exquisite flavors. Although the drinks were pricey at $15 each, but they were enjoyable. Overall, I rate my experience 4 out of 5, primarily due to the exceptional food. However, it is crucial for the establishment to address the deficiencies in their service provision. Age, appearance or clothing should not influence the quality of service delivered, as I speak from experience as a server myself. I'll definitely be back for the amazing food and drinks, but I'll make a point to request a different server next time.

I don't ever leave poor review however I had 2 very poor experiences within a week. The first time we had friends in town and I wanted them to have an enjoyable experience. We had reservations for 8 pm. I received a call from the manager stating he wanted to inform us the bar would be closing at 7:30pm to prepare for Easter the following day. It felt extremely unwelcoming/uncaring to say the least. I asked if they could perhaps make a drink for our guests before they close the bar ( I do not drink but I knew they quite enjoy a drink) and place it on the side. He said, "no he could not do that". So we cancelled the reservation and were left to scramble for another restaurant on a Saturday night. Fast forward to a week later. We walk call ahead at 7:50pm to see if there is a wait they state, "there is a 10 minute wait". We walk in at 8:05 with the same friends from the week before. Before we get so much as a good evening or a hello, the manager stated in a rude tone "it will be a 25 minute wait and just so you know the restaurant is closing at 9 pm". He might as well have said we really don't want you here and we are doing you a big favor by allowing you to eat here. So that leaves us 30 minutes to have an enjoyable Saturday evening dinner out rushing our meal? As we were finishing our meal they turned the brights lights on. I can take a hint, 2 strikes, we will never go back there ever again. They need to learn good customer service and basic ettiequte...

My family and I just had an unfortunate experience at Winberie. We arrived with my family of five plus two grandparents. We were greeted by the hostess and told that they were only serving a brunch buffet which cost $42 per adult and $21 per kid. After we completed our dining experience, our server brought the bill. When I opened the bill I found that they charged us for 6 adults and 1 child. I showed my wife to make sure I was correct in my assumption that we should have been charged for 4 adults and 3 kids. My wife immediately took the check and inquired with the hostess about the apparent mistake. She told my wife that they consider kids ten years of age and younger. My wife contested that they should not have used the terms "adult" and "kid" because the dictionary clearly defines adult as anyone of age 18 or older. My wife asked for them to adjust the bill accordingly. They then sent a manager over to our table to ask what the issue was and made my wife rehash the situation in front of our guests, which was unnecessary and rather embarrassing. The manager said that my 13 year old was very big and she had to charge him as an adult. I guess my 9 year old and 12 year old were small enough to be charged as kids. This was done in poor taste and for 21 dollars, Winberie lost a family of customers and earned itself a 1-star review. The food was fine, and the service was very good, but the judgement of the management staff...
