I received the wrong order , my bad I didn’t notice until I was at home , so I called . The person I spoke to reassured me I had received the correct order, she remembered me .she argued . I explained I had two of the same sandwiches and they were not giants , she said no continued to argue , said they are giants . I said I will come in . Alright good , she replied , I walked in to the same person I spoke to on the phone she opened the bag and told me “ two of the sandwiches = 1 , giant sandwich”. Problem being I order two giant sandwiches and paid for two and only received one . Then she said “2 = one “ and then asked for my receipt and walked away when they remembered me and my order , and it was clearly wrong .The staff was repeating my correct order back she took no ownership She did not apologize she was rude on the phone and rude in person . She then walked away Only saving grace was another representative spoke up apologized offered me two cookies and said that explains why we had two extra tuna sandwiches . Really so she knew what I was missing they had thrown away my sandwich .Just wanted to argue , why ? This is not ok , I paid 58.00 and tipped . I was treated poorly and as if I was trying to get something for nothing or asking for more than I paid for . I was treated poorly because of the way I looked . I reviewed similar negative posts , enough negative reviews . I think this Jimmy John’s store rolls this way !! Read moreUPDATE: a year later, and I just got a call informing me they have no drivers available. This is the fifth time in the past few months this has happened. I even ordered through DoorDash, thinking that they had partnered because of the staff shortage. But no, even though the dasher would come to them and pick up my order (and even though they are listed in the door dash app!), JORDAN insisted they could not give my order to any other service. Then he suggested that I just stop ordering from them at all. There was no apology, no manners, just snide remarks. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and I tip extremely well. But I think I'm done with this business.
Original Review: I have loved JJ's for years, and still do. I usually order the Gargantuan as an Unwich (with cucumber and hot peppers added), and, if you know anything about how that's made, you know it's a pain in the neck to get all that stuff inside the lettuce wrap. They do it without complaint every time. It's true that recently the service hasn't been freaky fast, but they are dealing with the same pandemic as the rest of us, while having to balance an uptick of orders and a shortage of staff, so I am pretty understanding about it... There was 5 people working and they were so so slow one lady was mopping the floor with mop water that smelled sour so my buddy commented on it and another employee agreed so she pur the mop and bucket away and went behind the counter...
