Food is good, but way overpriced. Sometimes the order is wrong. They usually have a long line, so I didn’t go much until I got the app. Now I go more frequently because I order ahead and bypass the line. Only they’ve suddenly gotten very territorial over the pick up orders. They leave it on the customer side of the counter for easy access, but suddenly they don’t want you to get your own order. Someone will run to intercept you. Today I went in and there was a line. I headed straight for the pickup station. Guy at the counter said “I’ll be right with you” (well, no you won’t, because you have multiple customers in front of you waiting to check out). I just grabbed my bag and started to head out. He snips “For future notice, I’m supposed to hand that TO you.” Well, ok buddy, if that’s how it is, I’ll go back to ordering from Firehouse. They never give me any trouble when picking up. Did they think I was going to steal food? It’s not like they check for ID. And I go in there 1-2 times per week, wearing the same uniform every time. They know me, but apparently can’t trust me to take my own food and no one else’s. Very strange to guard the pick up station like this. Read moreThis has to be the WORST JM on the east coast. I really wish I was joking because I chose to retire here, but i'm not. I used to get JM every other day for lunch in NC/VA/GA/FL/KY because it was good and affordable.
I've been here at least 6 times, with a few months in between each visit at the least. Every single time without failure they've managed to mess something up.
This time is the last, I'm sure they're not worried because it's a military city and they'll get new customer base due to shaw but I'm done I'll take the extra 5 minutes it would take me to drive in town to go to camden where they actually care about quality and having a good attitude. I've been snared at for coming in right as the open or 20-30min before closing and ordering sandwiches for my family. I've been skimped on a lot of meat when it comes to hot subs at least 3 times. Read moreOrdered online, specified NO ONION since I am allergic to them, but I did want lettuce and tomato picked up my sub was given a hard time not only about the discount because apparently discounts are not given online but was also given a hard time because even though it was placed online and I didn't have to wait for the order I was told I would still have to do so picked up my sandwich it had no lettuce no tomato and only onion on it and being that I had picked it up and gone directly to work I was now no longer without lunch or break food for later called and was told I could bring it back and get a replacement.
