This is a motel 6 people, not the Ritz. You could be sleeping outside on the ground like alot of folks these days. I'm sure their "terrible awful mattresses" won't be so terrible then will it? Their "nasty bathrooms" are the best thing in the world after you've spent a week on the streets with no shower whatsoever.
A few more points to make here..
No where else will accept cash on the spot like they do NO WHERE else isn't going to require a deposit, especially when paying with cash. Except maybe premier inn by ghettocenter mall where you can almost guarantee you'll wake the next day to your cats stolen. (Catalytic converter)
The staff here are polite and helpful. I love the energy of the housekeepers.
We stayed here recently for a few days and had a boat we were pulling. We were about to pull out and noticed a lady that kinda kept staring at us and watching us. Pondered to myself what and why. Seemed a little odd. My boyfriend was trying to finish using his phone before he drove away so we sat there for 5 maybe 10 minutes. Meanwhile we're still being watched. Then he finally starts to drive away and that's when the lady watching began to flag me down. At that same time he noticed a drag trying to pull the boat. We realized we hadn't put the wheel back up on the boat trailer. The lady worked at the hotel. It hit me then that they were all waiting to see if we noticed we hadnt put the wheel up so they could alert us. Maybe it's just me, and maybe it's a stupid thing, but I thought that was kinda awesome of them to do that. They are working obviously they have things to do, but they waited that whole time just to make sure we were safe. People now a days could care less about that kinda stuff. They see it and shrug to themselves and move on thinking "well it's not me" .. maybe it's some small stupid thing but nowadays those small stupid things are becoming not so small anymore.
We're looking forward to coming back again here soon..I just want to extend my gratitude and thanks to this location in, I most certainly appreciate your patience with us as I know we checked out extremely...
Read moreThe place is decent and cheaper than most. The bad part is, the train runs behind the place and can be very loud and then the jets from the Air Force Base are constantly flying over and are very loud . The room I was in should have only one bed. It was small and very crowded and the AC didn't work right and my son and I were miserable . I had thought that my checkout day was Saturday and it was Friday. I ended up packing my things, I was cooperative, but housekeeping and management was still rude. I had stayed there a year or two ago when I was homeless , I lost my job due to COVID and things snowballed and I ended up in a motel. Anyway, as I was putting my stuff outside to load in the car, the manager saw some rough looking man and asked , "Is he going to help you?" I felt insulted. I told her that he isn't even with me . All of my stuff was outside the door and the manager asked "Is your ride coming or what?" I told her my car is right in front of me. I was there because I am leaving the state and wanted to say good bye to family members. I wasn't wearing makeup and had sloppy clothes. Who looks glamorous after moving and will be driving over 2000 miles. Just because I looked like a slob at the moment and was homeless in the past it doesn't mean that I should be treated like scum. To top it all off, management called security on me despite the fact that all of my stuff was outside the door and I was loading. I was being cooperative and not rude, not saying anything to anybody....maybe loud when my cat scared me when he got out of his carrier and jumped at me hoping to get out of the car. Oh yes I took a quick break or two from loading because it is awfully hot. It was about 110 degrees that day. Security did see that I was loading the last item and I was getting in my car...
Read moreI have stayed at this hotel off and on for the last few months. I never caused any problems for nobody here. I stay to myself but last night around clise to midnight or alittle past midnight i was sleeping and somebody managed to push open my door open and thankfully i had the top latch on it so that person couldny successfully suceed at fully opening my door. I called the front desk and told him what just happened and said he would check it out but never heard of anything more about it. So this morning i went to extend my stay and tried to tell the housekeeper who was running the front office what had happened and i asked if somebody could check my door out and she asked why and i told her somebody managed to get my door open and then she tried to insinuate i gave my key to somebody else when that isnt the case. I dont givr my key out to nobody. She tried to tell me maybe it was the night guy who came to my door that late at night? The person knocked on my door constantly after the door was opened somehow. So i get back to my room think for a minute on what should i do and i call thr front desk and ask whrn the head person will be in? And she told me there are no managers on duty on the weekends. I was shocked to hear that. Then she said she would refund my money if i didnt feel safe? I told her that i didnt say I wasnt safe its the fact obviously the door dont shut all the way whrn it seems like its lock when its not. The young female did not try to make things right accept to offer me to check out. The situation is being handled not good. She would write whatever she wants in the book but i know the truth. There are cameras and i will be asking them...
