NEVER, EVER STAY HERE! Run far away from here. I have NO IDEA how Google reviews has 3.8 stars on this place right now. It should be 1 star. This place is by far the most disgusting hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. I rented a two-bed suite and there was a solid 1-inch layer of dust on everything, including high-touch surfaces like tables, the lamps, light switches, and even the walls. There was what appeared to be splattered ketchup or blood on the walls, which had several holes in them, as well. I had to plug the holes in the wall with ear plugs out of paranoia that they were cameras. There was also water damage on the wooden floor, which caused several wooden planks to stick straight up. Water leaked in to the hotel while it was raining. There were also pee stains on the mattresses (which, please go to Yelp to view the lovely pictures, as I'll be posting them there!!). The room was in NO condition to be rented out to anyone. When we called the front desk on the last day of our stay, we not only dealt with attitude from the girl working the counter, we were promised a phone call from management that we never received. Class-A customer service. Oh, and to make matters worse, because of the hotel's classist policy not to rent to locals, my sister was denied a hotel room. So, on Christmas Eve, this hotel turned a 21-year-old girl out on the street to fend for herself. They are lucky I was staying there and was able to give her a place to sleep in my room. The man at the front desk, Brando, gave her major attitude and his tune changed the second I marched in there to talk to him about his denying her a room. He had given her room away without telling her first. The whole policy regarding renting to locals is complete B.S. by the way -- there were STILL "sketchy" guests all over the hotel, so denying locals the ability to rent there really didn't do anything for the safety of guests or the quality of the hotel in general. A grotesque man wearing nothing but skid-marked tighty-whities, for example, kept the door to his room wide open the entire time we stayed there, and we had to walk by that room several times. It was overall just the most god awful experience I've ever had in a hotel. The hotel denying locals the ability to rent there ultimately does locals a favor, not the hotel. As far as I'm concerned, this hotel and all of its staff can read between the lines. FIND ANOTHER...
Read moreOn May 26th 2025 My stay was a NIGHTMARE!!! I drove over 1600 miles with my family and my belongings to move to Buckeye, two of the family members are teenage boys. Got there after midnight and we unpacked and walked to quick trip. My room was okay at best but upon arrival we didn’t see that there was a glob of something old and hard on one of the beds. I went and told the front desk lady that was there and she told me there was nothing she could do because we probably did it and we had been in the room an hour. Told me to talk to the front desk in the morning. So I did… I walked in and there bright and early the next morning and there stood this older white haired manager and a male employee. She was IMMEDIATELY rude to me like she was waiting for me to come make her job harder... I just wanted new bed clothes. We got nothing resolved but the realization that she’s not very nice and doesn’t care. So I let it go… I went to get my nephew that was woke for “free breakfast” as we were getting food the worker started telling us we can’t take food to the room which we wasn’t (we were still heating it up) then as we stood there eating and watching tv she went and told the manager my nephew had food in his pocket and we were stealing free breakfast that we never left the dining area with. The manager then walks up to my underaged nephew and starts patting on him and talking aggressive so I told her to keep her hands off of him and I apologized to him for being racially profiled she then proceeded to tell me we had to leave the dining area and she was going to call the police ( which I was already doing because why are you touching my nephew) and the lady that initially told her that we were stealing free breakfast came over to me while I was eating and started taking my food and trying to wipe up the area I was eating at. I got emotional because of the awesome Arizona welcome I got from the manager and the manager looked me in my eye’s ( not knowing those tears were because of anger) and said very rudely quit with the fake tears and get out of here right in front of the police. No compassion, no respect, no kind of hospitality AT ALL. I’ll NEVER go back to this hotel or send anyone else. I’ve definitely been talking to a lawyer… don’t waste your time or money unless your the skin color they want you to be. Then they charged me and still asked me to leave though I was DEFINITELY leaving after...
Read moreLOTS of PROS - It was very clean, comfortable beds & pillows, the free breakfast was much better than a continental breakfast, great hot sausage gravy & biscuits (plus hotplates to make your own waffles, pastries, cereal, orange & apple juice options, coffee, fridge with boiled eggs - breakfast burritos - fruit packs,), everyone was very nice. Everyone (check-in, check-out, people filling the breakfast) was very nice. Location - for us it was perfect - not far from the Desert Diamond Casino and close the Banner medical (we were there for a specialist appointment at Banner). Plenty of towels (my pet peeve), great in-room coffee, room fridge and even a built-in night-light in the bathroom (in our room at least). Except for #1 below - I was very happy. CONS - #1 Upon checking in they failed to inform us our room was one of several where you had to turn the shower knob a certain way to turn on the water, we both tried and ended up doing washing up in the sink instead (we complained when we went for breakfast and we were told she gets a lot of complaints on that and told us how to turn it on - why no one told us when we checked in is baffling - really ruined a good experience). Upon returning to the room I tried the trick I was told - the water turned on but I was past upset on that issue. CONS #2 - if you are sleeping during the day be prepared for loud jets overhead. We wondered why they provided ear plugs and realized around 8:30 am when we heard the first jet. For us it was not an issue but it may be for others. CONS #3 - It's an aging building but they keep it clean and well decorated. If it were newer you would pay $100 more for the room - so it's a trade, not really a negative. CONS #4 - We were in room 310, it's off to the side. I may stay at this hotel in the future, if so, I would use the hallway versus parking in front of the room since it's out of the horseshoe and I did not feel as safe (for my car but never an issue for my own safety when entering from the hallway instead). If there again, I will park in the horseshoe more enclosed area and walk thru...
