7 months later, I see the response below, instructing me to call to discuss the issue. I called. I was put on hold immediately upon connection. Seriously. No answer, no recording, no offer to leave my number for them to call me. Just straight to the elevator music. Looked up the # and it's the same one from Facebook to 'find a store near you!'
So, Dear Owner, If you truly have decided to provide me with some kind of customer service, please start by reviewing what has already happened. Store 182YNT01 12/20/19 approx 3pm Transaction # 515260 The person I spoke with from Boost Community Assistance was Victor21. And just a quick suggestion. . . At least TELL callers how long you expect them to wait before putting them on hold. And don't ask someone to call you if you aren't going to LEAVE YOUR NAME OR NUMBER.
Orig. Review: After a supposed assistant regional mgr working at this store overcharged my husband $87. and made unauthorised changes to my account, I have been repeatedly lied to and yelled at by the supposed district mgr who showed up to prevent the employees from refunding the overcharge we are due. The first time resulted in my deciding to leave after 4 hours of her ever-changing excuses and constant attempts to take our receipt, our phone, our print-out of the bogo special. After speaking with Customer Service and being assured the store would issue our refund, I went back only to endure another 4 hours of the same. When she realized I was probably recording our conversation, she told me to leave or she would call the police. I should've stayed because I could've played the recording (she was right about that!), which would've proven her call to them was fraudulent. I suggest that anyone doing business at this store get a print-out of the charges (detailed) BEFORE paying. The store can do that, so if they claim otherwise, go to a different store! Or better yet, avoid Boost Mobile until it's been bought by a company willing to provide consistent...
Read moreOn two occassions I visited Boost at the location 11115 Grand Ave. Ste101, Youngtown, AZ 85363 due to challenges with my cell phone. On the first visit, the employee, Kathy, assisted me in getting my phone from glitching out and freezing. She simply turned the phone off for several minutes and turned it back on which remedied the issue immediately. On my second visit, August 29th, I needed to access my voicemail and update my phone. The employee, Ricardo, assisted me in accessing my voicemail and doing an update showing me how to do it myself once he got everything working. Both employees were competent and respectful which was a far cry from the experience and treatment from the employee, Lidia, on 6750 W Peoria Ave, which I wouldn't wish on anyone. I recommend the Youngtown Boost location because of the excellent service and treatment of customers...
Read moreUnbelievable how some stores will try to take advantage of their customers, so I call trying to find a SIM card, which most companies will give for free or maybe charge 5-10 bucks I totally understand, but this place wants to sell for $10,00 and add a mandatory activation fee of $25.00 "which can be done for free online or a simple phone call to boost" so I ask the guy can I just buy the SIM card and I'll activate it. He says NO, no way! So basically 35 dollars for a 1 dollar SIM card. What a rip off I will take my business elsewhere, many cell phones in a city! they're already making 900% profit on the SIM card when they sell it for 10 bucks. Best buy and Apple give them away for free they just didn't have one for the...
